[Unbalanced]

THE NEXT MORNING (I might post later from the perspective of before the night)

Andre found himself getting up early enough in the morning; He always did when he was anticipating something the next morning. And despite the dangers he had encountered in the library, he was eager to meet new people, find new opportunities, and complete more missions along the way. That is, at least missions that won't end up with armour trying to chop his head off.

Andre didn't have a roommate that night, which he learned was because it would be Daron, who spent the night at the infirmary. He liked sleeping alone anyways.

He walked down the empty halls and up to the sign-up sheet once again. He noticed Martin there, who he didn't know too well, but he said hello before checking out the missions available. A treasure hunt, a mob, and a Hell cave... Andre had to take note of his lack of combat prowess. He had when he chose the library mission, of course, but he never expected it to be so deadly. I guess the obvious choice is this Holy Grail thing then.

(He stayed in the infirmary to sleep that night because Dr. Walcott commanded it.)

Daron woke up early the next morning and remembered that the doctor had told him he could leave the next day so he equipped his armor and his glove, slipping out unnoticed. His side still hurt a little but at least the wound had healed over a little and the stitches wouldn't come lose.

He took a casual stroll down the halls of the school, admiring the paintings held on the wall and noticed one of them had a man on it that looked vaguely familiar. He was a confident man, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a familiar smile. Even the clothing looked familiar. Daron was stumped as to who this man could be...and then it hit him. The ghost he met on his mission.

Out of respect for his new friend, he went back to the music room and saw the piano still there. The piano was a beautiful ebony and looked cleaner than last time he was there. Daron thought this was odd, but thought nothing else of it as he sat at the bench. He closed his eyes and began playing. His notes filled the air and his friend appeared again by his side. Daron heard the second key of notes in sync with his and he stopped, surprised. He looked to the source of the sounds and saw his friend playing with him. Tears ran down his face out of his joy, not only at seeing his friend, but knowing now that other spirits could be 'alive' as well.

The ghost turned to Daron and told him, "I'm glad you decided to visit me again," and disappeared back into the darkness.

As the spirit faded, Daron thought alone to himself, about the evil element he was using and how no matter how he uses it now, eventually it will come back to haunt him. He left the room and went back and just walked down the hallway for a while and then pulled out his cell phone and called his father.

"Hello?" His father asked him.

"Hey dad, I just finished my first mission."

"Ah, how did it go?"

"I got a perfect score."

Daron's father yelled to Daron's mother, "Hey, honey! Daron got a perfect score on his first mission!" He returned to speaking with his son and said, "Good job, son."

Daron interrupted him, "I also got a big gash in my side."

"So use that trick I taught you with your dark powers."

"I'm not sure if that's suck a good idea. Yesterday the darkness began...swallowing me."

"You'll be fine Daron, just because your grandfather lost control doesn't mean you will."

"Well thanks, dad."

"Is that all you needed, son?"

"Um...I think so...oh, wait! Do I really have to say 'Dark-side arise!' every time I transform?"

Daron's father chuckled a little, "You never had to say that. Anything with the word 'Dark' in it is fine.

"Great..." Daron replied.

"Well, I'll talk to you later mah boi."

Daron said to his father as he hung up, "Bye, dad." Then, his expression changed to a evil smile as he said, "Actually, this could be quite fun."

((LET'S DO THE TIME WARP

IT IS NOW OFFICIALLY MORNING, EXCEPT FOR THOSE WHO ARE DOING THINGS IN THE EVENING))

6:00 AM

Josephine was awoken by music, which started off soft, but got progressively louder. She opened her eyes. Nothing worked on her like Fountains of Wayne. She hit the off button on her alarm, and stretched while yawning. Jo noticed nearly all of the sheets were on the ground, except the top sheet, and she was close to falling off. She slid off the bed, and chose her new clothing. Josephine then stumbled into the bathroom to take a shower. 30 minutes later, at around 7:00, she walked out, dressed for the new day, and ready to eat some breakfast. But before that...

"HEY! WHO WANTS TO RUN LAPS AROUND THE ACADEMY WITH ME?" Josephine yelled, hopefully waking someone up who wanted to run laps with her. It wasn't exactly the way you would think most people asked, but hey, she did it back when she traveled with her track and field team, and it was pretty awesome.

Daron saw a strange girl down the hallway yelling and said to her, "Sure, I could go for some running about now, especially after being trapped in an infirmary all night," as he approached her. He continued, "But first can we get some food?"

Paku woke up in the morning to someone yelling outside his door. It sounded like... Jo? He got up out of bed, and threw on some clothes, not bothering to take a shower. He would likely be working on ROB, he would just get dirty again while doing that. He walked out of the door, and sure enough, Jo was standing there.

"Hey Jo. You guys going to breakfast? I'll join you, if you don't mind." He said, noticing the person that had just walked up. "Hi, I'm Paku." He added, extending his hand to shake.

[Dragoon]

Daron gave out a smile and shook Paku's hand saying to him, "The name's Daron. Nice to meet you, Paku." He waited a moment and then asked them, "Oh hey, what are your powers?"

Martin finished eating and threw out the remains of his breakfast. He was approaching the library when he heard someone shouting something about running laps, he headed towards the voice and found out the voice came from the dorm hallway, he saw Daron talking to a female student.

"Hey Daron were you the one shouting something about doing laps, or was it this chick?"

[Dragoon]

"Oh, hey there sword guy. Thanks for the bone sword from yesterday. I think I'll keep it for a while." Daron then remembered he had left it at the infirmary and said to himself, "Eh, I'll pick it up later." He returned back to Martin and said, "As for the running. Yeah it was this girl." Then he turned to Jo and said, "Jo is it? Cool. So yeah, what are your powers?"

Lyra woke up. Someone was yelling. She jumped out of bed, still half asleep and in her clothes from the previous night, and pulled a pillow off her bed. She stormed outside and threw the pillow in Josephine's face, gave her a dirty look, and picked up the pillow to go back inside and sleep some more.

"Oh no, it's quite all right." Marina smiled, this time a nice smile with no malicious intent behind it. "I should have been watching where I was going. You're... a shapeshifter, aren't you?" She stroked her chin thoughtfully. "That's pretty cool. My power is telling what other people's powers are. Pretty cool too, right?" She looked down, taking notice of her clothes. A white skirt, black tights, white boots, and a gray shirt. Pretty standard. Still, she could pull it off. She was nothing if not vain.

"Oh, right, I am new here. Speaking of new, I think the new missions are up." She gestured towards the board. Several others were already gathering. One of them a fur. That evil smile almost crept up on her face again when she saw who it was. Hold back, for now.

"Oh hey, what are your powers?"

"Oh, I can keep a machine running indefinitely. Unless someone just goes and destroys it, though. To keep it running then I would need some tools to fix it. You?" Paku replied, starting to walk for the cafeteria. "Oh, and hello again... Martin?"

Maxwell awoke to the sound of a familiar voice shrieking like a harpy across the hall. Josephine had woken up and pierced his slumber with a request to run around the campus. Well, Maxwell wasn't a runner, but waking up wasn't such a bad idea. Maxwell had take a shower the previous night, so his daily regimen included making himself look fabulous, brushing his teeth, and thirty minutes of longtones, resulting in him emerging from his room at 8:00.

Before he went to eat, he decided to pay a visit to the fight dojo. All manner of training was going on there: eastern martial arts, primitive marksmanship training, firearm marksmanship training, the works. He paid particular interest in the fencing, which was how he learned to use Sabers and other slim stabbing weapons. He had his equipment there, maybe he'd be able to do some sparring with a student before his mission that day.

That would have to wait until after breakfast, he suddenly noticed that he was beyond hungry. Curse his minimalist-portioned meals.

(I'm starting to think of Maxwell as a swordfighting Edd from Ed, Edd, and Eddy.)

"Hey nerd-dude" Martin cheerfully replied "How was sleeping? good I bet." He turned to the female student and said "Hey the name is Martin, so...your names Jo right? what is it short for?"

[Dragoon]

Daron turned to Paku and said, "Oh, well I can..." Daron's expression changed to a much more intense one, "control ancient dark magics and summon evil spirits to fight for me." His expression reverted to his smile. "It's a pretty useful power....but usually I just use it to teleport around or give me a boost of strength."

"Oh...new missions?" Coryn glanced over and saw that the mission board had new papers pinned to it. "I guess I'll check those out later."

She looked back at the new girl and smiled. "I'm Coryn, by the way. What's your name?"

Will woke up lazily from his bed, his hair was as if he had gone super saiyan. His arms and legs were still sore from the mission. he was hesitant to find out what the next one would be. After he cleaned himself and got dressed, he sluggishly went to the cafeteria, Where he saw Martin sitting with some hot girl. AS to not interrupt their conversation, he sneakily made his way to the table without them seeing him. When they were done talking, Will asked Martin with a yawn "Were there any new missions on the board? I was to to tired to check." Suddenly remembering the girl next to him, he said " and what's your name, beautiful?" and winked at her
