I spoil the endings of animes for myself if I don't feel like watching all the way through.

question: is it possible to spoil an album/song or a composition

Absolutely, depending on how the music and lyrics are written. For example, The Offspring's Hammerhead. The very last verse gives the rest of the song a totally different meaning.

Also, I'm glad no one told me about Rush's 2112 before I played GH: Warriors of Rock.

Kira, you spoiler. Kira spoiled the ending to Eternal Sonata, well at least the last boss.

i'm talking about like

the song ends with a long trumpet solo and then a slow piano interlude

the trumpet solo goes like this A B C D E F G A

the piano interlude consists of the root chords of A B and C

did that spoil the song for you?

are you inclined to never finish listening to it because you already know the ending?

does it remove from you the purpose of listening to the song?

No, that would be very silly. Like saying, "Oh, the song ends in an epic guitar solo."

Me, in tears, after finishing HP book 6: Mom, I finished the book. You know how the news said someone would die in this book? Well its worse than I thought it would be.

My mom, currently in the middle of HP6: Who is it? Ginny?

Me: no.

Mom: Ron?

Me: no

Mom: Hermione?

Me: no

Mom: Dumbledore?

Me: *sniff* yes...

Mom: WELL THANKS A LOT YOU JUST RUINED THE WHOLE THING FOR ME

EDIT: On a completely different note, when I first saw the title of the thread I thought it was referring to a bar for black people.

The Book of Eli was spoiled to me, mainly on purpose since I originally had no intent to watch it
I recently watched it and I am actually glad I already knew that he was blind the whole time so I didn't have to watch it twice to see how they worked the camera and his acting to go with it

Watched an episodes of Scrubs where they spoil the ending of Sixth Sense. Seriously the whole episode pretty much was J.D DID YOU KNOW THE GUY IS DEAD THE WHOLE TIME HURR

Also I was reading a walkthrough for Persona 4 and without warning the author just wrote the name of the killer RIGHT AT THE START OF THE IT.
I was so rustled I nearly sold the game.
