Congrats Wordsmith!

Although this has been confusing me for a while. Do 'College' and 'University' mean the same thing in America? Very very rarely do I hear anyone refer to University...

I can't explain it very well but College is where you learn for a specific profession you want to work in. University gives you advanced learning. Some jobs require you to go to University for advanced study, some don't.

University can't be accessed without finishing College with good enough grades.
I hope I actually managed to explain somewhat.
