THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE A THREAD DEPENDING ON YOUR DEFINITION

The Heavy steps out of the spawn doors triumphantly. Entire team has captured the BLU team's intelligence twice now, and the third time will surely be at hand. However, there is stirring among the BLU team. Are they planning to stop RED dead in its tracks?

Heavy steps out of the spawn doors. He is wielding Natascha, Sandvich, and the Gloves of Running Urgently. Does he take the stairs and go through the sewers, jump down from the side room and cross the bridge, or jump on the battlements and jump to the bridge by using his GRU?

Warning: Some TF2 lingo may follow.

Heavy is suddenly overcome with a wave of swirling sadness. He does not know why, but he is willed to commit suicide. The large man jumps into the water with GRU equipped, waiting for death. There is a small voice in the back of his head screaming "NO! EET EES NOT POSSIBLE!", but he chooses to ignore it. As he slips closer and closer into Death's arms, he starts to think about the voice in the back of his mind, pushing itself forward. Does he obey the voice?

I'm curious, has anyone actually gotten a decent length with one of these?
Or do they just burn out after 5 or so updates like everyone else?

Successful ones, like Dark's original, are completed in a day. The biggest mistake with these is that the original posters are bored, and do this for fun, without actually planning to commit to the idea for more than a few days; so they die. Then you have those who actually have a plan, and are motivated enough to stick through the entire adventure, but forumites are so sick of the idea of RPs and Adventures (because the others die out so why spend time on these, etc) that no one participates and the idea dies (or, alternatively, it is continued by just two or three people).

Not to kill the party, but.

I'm am pretty annoyed with about 500 barely started and never finished adventures coming up.

naming this thread after two other threads to make it look like it's a bandwagon and piss off the proletariats is the greatest idea of the century

Mine lasted about about a month and ended.

Mine's probably the longest finished on of the forum. ...Or probably the only finished one other than Dark's.

Mine's almost done. I'm just a little irritated that Fatehehhh here stole the name of my planned Pokemon/Mega Man crossover.
