In other words, plants. I figure there must be a few here with green thumbs (not me) or a general interest in plants (me). Do you like to grow plants indoors? Outside? What's your favorite plant?
I've currently got a nice little collection of plants hanging around (not in) my dorm sink. I've got an Aloe Vera, Wandering Jew, Oxalis bulbs (also known as "Purple Shamrocks"), Ghost/Mother of Pearl Plant, and a Venus Flytrap. I've also got a few herbs; Dill, Basil, Oregano and the like.

I think plants make good decorations for living rooms and offices.
...That's all I can contribute. :B I'm not a plant person.

I thought we had a thread like this...
oh well.
I grew some Ghost Chile this summer. Good stuff.
Roses are evil bitches that lure you with their good looks then torture you for as long as you can hold on.

Not that I recall. Looked through and couldn't find much of anything.
I agree about roses. They're all over the daisies place, I like the more crazy-looking flowers. Amaryllis and Tillandsia have lovely flowers.

I want to grow bonsai trees someday. Have a few tomatoes in the backyard.

Orchids scare the piss out of me.
Other than that, I love to grow pumpkins, roses and I have some mint and basil growing in the kitchen, which is wonderful.

PFFFFT
How do they scare you?
Related:
The name comes from the Greek "orkhis", bodaciously meaning "testicle", because its root has a similar shape.

I dunno mang. I don't trust the fact that they look like they have mouths AND fangs commin' out the front of 'em.
Ok they don't really scare me. I actually think they're pretty alright. Just offputting.

I used to have some carnivorous plants (venus fly trap, sundew, and pitcher plant), and some funny little cactus that had an orange sphere on top. Those are about the only ones I've owned, and unfortunately, they died back in Baton Rouge. I wouldn't mind getting more sometime though.

Foo you sneaky snake.
Anyways, how do you keep carnivorous plants alive, Pale? My flytraps seem to be doing okay for now, but it seems that they're all going to be a hell of a pain in the booty. I'd love to get a pitcher plant one day, though. Either kind.
