Semi related to that video, I wonder if it was inspired by black hole, which is creepy in a weird sorta way.

I can't find any of the really freaky stuff on the web but here is the wikipedia page and here is a short film that conveys some of the scenes from the book perfectly.

Yeah but I still don't see how that is creepy.

I think it has light humour rather than an eerie feel.
