They are Wasps. Anyway, the soloution is to find an apple that hasn't already been started!
Why is everyone so scared of bees and wasps anyway? Yes, they sting you, but only if you treaten them or something (waving your hands around, for instance). Unless you're allergic to stings and they don't get sensitive areas, you should be fine.
Also I was once holding a hornet for about 10 minuets before letting it go, where it simply flew off and didn't sting me. I was protected only by a plastic cup and thin clear plastic bag thing, which was far from airtight. Wasp bites hurt a bit (in Greece I had been eating cold meat and the wasp wanted some, so it bit my thumb. Also in Greece I accidently stood on a wasp, but steriod cream really helped the irritation. So yeah, I'm ok with bees and wasps and the like. :3
It's creepy if you don't look at the link. Which like, what 75% of people do?
Dat 25%
I've been stung by a wasp once, and that's because I sat on a hammok that they nested under. We have plenty of bees/wasps around where I live, well only in certain areas, and they never bother you. You could walk through a group of them and they wont attack you, they tend to fly a little ways away from their hives/nests/homes/whatevers, so I think they're less protective.

I scrolled down bodaciously as soon as that... thing popped up.
It didn't scare me so much as it made me go whoa what. I think if I hadn't scrolled downwards I probably would have fallen for it.
Also, what's wrong with the link? All I see is a Youtube url. Is it supposed to be different or something?

Though it's not obvious, the /14oct2011/ isn't something you'd see in a YT url.

I thought it was weird but I didn't think anything of it. The only thing that threw me off was the blurry text on the title and stuff, that gave it away.
