Grey blinked. The girl was smaller than all of the others she'd tried to communicate with, but the others had all called her a monster or threatened to cut her up with their various blades. "Well, I... Uh..." She wasn't sure how to explain it. Luckily, Ciel kept talking. "...Futah? Well, I know how to get there... I just can't explain it." Grey furrowed her brows. She could be there and back in a flash. Humans were so... useless. Still, she had nothing better to do. "I could go with you," she offered.

I have a feeling I started that, oops.

I just realized I should probably have Henry show up and harass one of the people that already have one of the keys.

I'll get to that tomorrow.



Also I'm not even sure who has the keys anymore. It'd be nice to have a recap of some sort, but meh this thread is only 30-something pages anyway I guess I'll just re-read it all or something.

OOC: I kinda got tired of drawing this halfway through... I was going to put the Elder doing some sort of spidey sense thing; but, meh... I'll just type it out.

IC:

Little did Ralkar and the Oracle know that the grove of mushrooms were actually enchanted with an ancient spell. This spell was meant to protect the forest from evil by drowing out all those with a sinful heart. However, for some unexplained reason, the aura from the magic mushrooms had begun to disappear over the past century or so. Despite this, the message that someone had broken through was received by the Forest Elder.

"I see..." The Elder muttered to herself. "So, she has finally awakened after all of these years. I cannot let the prophecy unfold." Gazing towards the horizon, she clutched a Key in her frail hands, which she had stolen from the Great Tree in Ruralton and replaced with a replica using her powers over nature.

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention where she got the key from... It was early in the morning and I'm a bit absent minded. I don't actually plan on her getting them in the end, so it's up for grabs if anyone wants to work it into their subplot.
