As the group got their orders, and later their food, they sat down a table near the middle of the resturant. Once again, it seems that fate had it out for Animak. Was it because he thought that guy was a hot chick, or was it because of the numerous infractions he committed with various young ladies in various towns? He just didn't know. Best to eat quickly and get it over with.
However, once again, he couldn't catch a break. He just knew he had to eat as quickly as possible--without looking like a slob--and then get the hell out of here.
"Oh, look how handsome you are!"
"why, if I were just a few years younger, you would have just been my type!"
Oh nooooo...

"Very good" Pharaoh replied with a smirk. A shadowy essence covered Jason's hand.
"What is this?!?" Jason asked, obviously worried. "Oh what, that? nothing much-just a symbol of our pact. A reminder, that's all. Don't worry, it'll go away as soon as the deal is done" he finished with a smile. "But.. if you go against our deal, the seal can be rather....dire." he started with a smile again. "But not to worry, chap, that's just to prevent back-stabbers! I see you're a writer, no?"

"Let's just say that if you bring me those keys, I'll make sure your work is noticed!" when he finished the book turned to black smoke.
______________
"Alright guys, let's go" Zang remarked to the others as they walked up to the windmill door. He tried the door, it was unlocked!
The group peeked their heads inside, and slowly walked in.
The door behind them suddenly slammed shut and locked. The room was dark.
"Uh....Zang?" Palenque began. "I got it." Zang replied, a ball of light appearing in his hand. His sword was drawn. "I suggest you guys keep any weapons you might have ready", he finished. the light revealed a staircase on the other side of the room. "Let's find that key"

He looked up from his hand and back to the 'magic man.' He closed his hand and put it in his pocket. He glanced to the side, put on a calm face and said:
"Perfectly understandable, backstabbers are dime-a-dozen these days. Before I head into the windmill and join that group, I'm going to head inside and grab my belongings. "
He walked inside his quaint house with the man in tow and started perusing through cupboards for any items he'll need on the trip. "Hmm, small place. It's quiet." Jason looked back to the man and said "Yeah, it helps me with my writing. The only sound I hear is nature and my music."
Speaking of which, I need my music player, at least a few days worth of food, my pen, ledger, messenger bag, rain cloak, and..ah-hah! He smiled slyly as he opened a leather case that contained his two pistols, given to him by his father.
Need to grab the ammo I have, get my holsters strapped and fitted, get that marker covered up with some gloves and..
He turned to the letter from his father sitting on his table. After looking at it for a minute, he picked it up and stuffed it in his bag. After putting on his jacket and getting his holsters suited, he turned to the man and said:
"Before I leave, I should know your name, since we're partners."
The Strange Man looked up slightly from under his hat and said "Oh, my name is...Pharoah." and disappeared in a puff of black smoke.
OOC: Hope that wasn't god-modding.

No, god-modding is where you say something like [stabs person in the face and they die] when it's not okay with the character's owner.

I just figure I should say I'm not dead and I'm coordinating the next post with alex so it isn't annoyingly short.
In case anyone was wondering.
EDIT: And here it is. (I'm in quotes, he's in italics)
"We're jumping toether!" Perry said as he grabbed Al. As the lift got to the highest ledge, they jumped off, with the lift crashing at the top, slowly banging back and forth before settling. Alexandy looked up at the banging sheet, then around him and Perry. The area was well lit by the sunlight from outside beaming through the clock face. But the lights neglected the walls due to the position of the sun at this early afternoon hour.
Thanks for the ride, been a while since I was in a situation as fast as that.
"So, we're at the top, where's that treasure?"
Alexandy chuckled, Don't you know that any treasure worth hunting will never be in plain sight? It's treasure hunting 101. He stood up and looked around, stopping to get a good look at the clock face. You don't happen to have something to light, do you?
"Just my ninja info cards," which Alexandy took and inspected.
This should do nicely. I'd take a step back, safety first and all that. He bunched the cards in a ball and gripped in his palm, then snapped his fingers, a bright spark flashed from his hand before the cards were engulfed in fire, providing a decent light source to see the walls.
The walls were covered in white chalk writings, the most repetitive objects being the number 4512, a sun, and a key. After looking around, Alex found four magnifying lenses. "Well, we have a sun and some magnifying glasses, and we know it's key related, but what of these numbers?"
They might mean numbers on the clock.
"I have never heard of a 45 o'clock, much less 45:12"
Alexandy facepalmed. No, the numbers 4,5,1,& 2. We have four lenses so... Alex realized the lenses were gone from his hands, and saw Perry up on the face.
"Aaaaand this one here," he said as he placed the last one, "with the numbers 1,2,4 and 5, but no 3, I'm guessing the time needs to be three. And would you look at the time, it's moments away. Let's watch."

EDIDING
Anita started crying. The winds blew harder than ever on this day. The sun, shining brightly and yet coldly on her, turned her pretty red-haired head into some sort of fox-like creature; but the sobbing of the lovely girl would have made any admirer the saddest man on earth.
But she was alone.
Anita's father had left about four days ago. Yet... yet he hadn't come back. What had happened ? Anita couldn't know, but an imaginative girl loving her papa could think of nothing else than danger for her dad. And she had thought about the worst.
She raised her head. She kept on crying, but she missed her dad. She wanted to see him again, to play with him again. The food... she knew she had enough food for months -he had taught her lotsa ways to cook, and they owned a windmill : they knew many people in the village, and she knew they would help her in any way they could. But without papa, that would be pointless. She didn't want to do anything if her father wasn't involved.
She got up, and ran as fast as she could towards the forest. He had left that way; he'd told her he was going to see a friend in a tavern; she would find him, and she would find him good. And then teach him a lesson, explain to him how irresponsible it is to leave a poor little girl alone for days.
She quickly turned back; she took a red backpack, put some food, some clothes in it and a a very simple bow, with some pointy sticks, and felt readier than any warrior for any atrocious war.
She left, proud and confident.

While they were on the topic of introductions, Angie decided she might as well let them know her name.
"Since we're introducing ourselves, I'm Angie Nickinson, and I'm a fashion major in Futuh University. First year. I spend my summers adventuring though."
