The Seven Keys to Your Heart's Desire.(RP thread)
"Now, you have good abilities. So now to cure that nasty little fear of yours. You are about to get a great honor. You are welcome in my shack. Hurry though!"
The shack looks unimpressive on the outside. Once inside, it didn't look much better.
"I do apoligise for the mess, miss Renna. But we won't be staying long. At least, not in most senses. Nope, that's not it... No... Ahah! Here it is!"
He pulled out a crystal on a string.
"This, my dear Renna, is a pocket dimension. This should work for our needs. Any questions on it? I shall answer up to three."

The beast had given off a snort letting off some purple toxic gas while it shook it's head. Barmakog was quick to tangle up the man titled "Titan" with the cluster of very thick, purple vines around his collar. At the time Rend had punched Barmakog in the face, he was crawling on his knuckles like an ape. Now that he started to rise gripping Rend, his true height shown was double the previous. Once aggravated, Barmakog now had the smile of a killer as he stood straight up.Sleauxbreaux wrote:
A titan walked the streets. At least, that's what the flabbergasted citizens of Forwart were calling the man. "Titan".
He had been in Forwart for only a few days now, but rumor of his presence had spread quickly. Since his arrival, he had said only one word, to only one person. This person was an innkeeper. The word was "REST". The innkeeper, too astonished at the sheer size of the man to charge a fee, directed him to the vacant room nearest the desk, which was promptly smashed open, as the "Titan" was simply too gargantuan to fit through the door proper. He then sat on the bed, which flattened under his weight, and proceeded to stare at the wall opposite him for exactly twenty-four hours before rising and departing through the chasms he had inflicted upon the inn the previous day.
The "Titan" was at least a full-sized person and a half tall and, width-wise, would take up both the driver and passenger seats in a large vehicle. Each step of his enormous feet bodaciously shook the ground around him, constantly reminding most of the citizens of Forwart of his presence. Many of the citizens had thought to send word to the Forwart authorities, but the only crimes he had committed were one count of property destruction (which the innkeeper wasn't charging for and, had instead, built framework around the holes in case the "Titan" returned.) and disruption of peace, which no one dared approach him for.
On this particular day, a ship resembling a jellyfish loomed over Forwart's Sky Port, and since it had arrived, destruction had engulfed the portion of the city surrounding it. The "Titan" just happened to be walking through that part of town, when he stumbled upon this destruction. Curious, he ventured further into the shadow of the jellyfish ship to try to find the source of all the apparent violence. It didn't take long.
A gigantic being rampaged through Forwart, tearing down any men that crossed it's path. This being caught the eye of the "Titan", who approached it. The two were equal in size, and as the man approached the being, it simply pushed him out of it's path.
"I HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU."
The look of neutrality that had, until now, been permanently engraved on the man's face gave way to an expression of fury. No one ignored him. No one ever had, and he wasn't about to let this thing change that. He raised his colossal fist into the air and struck the being with all his might. The impact sent it careening into the nearest building, but it was resilient. It stood back up and shook free of it's daze, then stared the man down. The man simply stood and stared at the creature.
"I'M REND. GOT IT?"
"How cute! A man who thought he was my size wants to be the hero. I remember that was just the same, except a bit more icy. Ah yeah, that Mavoren! Heh heh, he was trying to be a white knight and save his sweet princess Ifrilisse. Too bad I got the last punch one him and tore the tender little woman in half, if you know what I mean...", Barmakog went on as he only squeezed tighter.
A little bit of the demon's breath had managed to get in Rend's face. Whether it was an hallucination or the purple gas itself, all of the sky from Rend's view behind Barmakog seemed to fill with a hellish inverted color. Barmakog had then simply tossed him forward.
"Most of these chumps have gotten me pretty daisies bored. It's not often I can make a beatdown last. Get up quick so I can pound ya to mulch!", Barmakog said freeing his other hand from the lantern-like capsule that carried the malformed Renisca's soul and wrapped it with vines as a pack carried on his back.

(Alright, I finally got back to this. Sorry for the short post and the auto-hit. I made sure it wasn't a major one so it'd be an equal trade.)

"Sample needed in event of medical emergency. If none can be given, perhaps one fabricated? More pressing matters at hand. Must move on." It turned with haste as steam effused out of the various pipes and pistons on his body. A scanner came out of his multi-purpose arm and went over the horizon. "Multiple casualties and injuries detected. Pheromone trail headed North, next to heavy Endocrine source. *Bzzzzclick-chiktik* Source identified as REND, known by locals as "Titan." Proceed with caution, weapons advised." As he said the last line, he drew out an extremely long and sharp bone-saw, capable of cutting items vastly tougher than bone. "Procede?"

A slow, sarcastic clap began behind the three
Fin turned around to see Pharaoh smirking, calm, and somewhat pleased.
"I have to say, that was rather fun, wasn't it?", He stopped to look at the three and chuckled."Yes, yes- a very interesting theory, in fact- you just about hit the nail on the head there Ffffin." he hissed. "But the point of the matter is that you didn't have your terminology quite right." he paused and let out a deep giggle. His shadow suddenly became unnaturally darker. A black mist emitted from the shadows, as Pharaoh duplicates crawled out of it. They were black and gray, with faintly glowing red eyes.
"They are my shadows." He said with a smirk. "Now.. I am going to get that key, duck. I don't care if I have to rip your friends organs out in front of you, I will get that fucking key.
The shadows let out a high pitched giggle simultaneously, each echoing the other. "Now then.",Pharaoh began, "We can do this the easy way.... or I can kill you all and take the key myself."

Qepp
---------------
Qepp looked at the man, his duplicates and then at his team. They were horribly outnumbered and he was in no shape to fight. He sighed dishearteningly and feebly motioned for the man to give him a second. To which he responded to with an expression of very mild shock and a 'then get to it' gesture. Qepp removed his shoulder gem, which also removed the wrappings holding his wound, and placed it on his arm. As he did so, his navigation display popped up with a 'ping!' notifying him that the equipment he gave Palenque was very close by. With the man staring him down, Qepp closed the display, faced the man, and stood straight..... He then gestured at the man, with one of the most insulting gestures his people knew, activated his laser claws, and dared the man forward.
Rennega

She looked at the device Zeion held. To her it looked like it was just a rock on a stick. Though she had her doubts, she trusted him enough to believe that what he said was truth. "A pocket dimension you say? And three questions? Hmm... Well, my first query would be as to what we would be needing such a device for?"

"AN EXCELENT QUESTION! But this one I shall answer now. As Buddy may or may not have told you, I was in a taveling troupe with him. Ah, the circus! Such thrills, such adventures! You get to see the world, and, with most of the troupe being quite curious, we also get to go into more... dangerous areas. Which, naturally, gives loot. This bauble was a mere crystal with a high ability to be enchanted, and I filled in the rest, with some help from... a friend."Koeqepp wrote:Rennega

Zeion paused when he mentioned his friend.
"Anyway, you have one more question."

PALE and JASON
Pale had raised his hand in agreement and enthusiasm. He saw that he was the only one who raised his hand so he let it down slowly, thanking his welding mask to hide his now-reddened face. Sitting down, he gave a sigh and heard a very loud "POING" come from Jason's backpack which lay on the table. He jumped out of his seat and turned around to see what it was. The other adventurers in the room stopped and looked towards Pale, a bit confused. Jason nodded at Palenque to open up the backpack, feeling a painful twitching in his right hand. After digging around for a few moments, Pale pulled out a familiar Luminescent Crystal. "Hey, it's Qepp's!" He pressed the console and up came the NAV screen they saw earlier, with a verdant arrow pointing towards the window and below them. "Qepp has..come back? But how?" They all walked over to the window and opened the curtains. Their stood the familiar xeno Queep, but he was covered in wounds and his energy claws were drawn. Next to him were two figures unfamiliar to Jason and Pale: A mechanical dog and a short guy with a mechanical mount. "Impressive engineering.." Mused Pale. "But...who're those three guys in front of them?" Jason instantly froze. "It's not three guys, only one." Well...shit

There was a pause after his story and Rennega noticed it. It sounded as if it was a sensitive subject and figured it best not to pry. "It sounds as though you have had quite a few adventure stories to tell. I would enjoy listening to them sometime but for now I have to ask my third question. How does one operate your crystal?"

Entemo'at set his attention back to the robot's dialogue, still being annoyed by it's request for "samples", but only little before the machine had finally stated to assign itself to Entemo'at's request. As the droid announced what it had detected, Entemo'at rubbed at where his chin would be within the mask part of his helmet with appeasement at the droid's findings.HisanTakura wrote:P3R0

"Of course.", Entemo'at says as he treads ahead by a few steps. The empty area in front of Entemo'at began to fog up with Entemo'at's bioatomics, and began creating a vehicle that would help greatly in their travels:The Reaper Chariot.
The form of transport has a cab not unlike a chariot used in ancient war, but there is also very drastic contrasts. Instead of wheels, coiling harvester plows like great pillars on their sides that will twist the earth under it as it would ride. Instead of horses, there is a cluster of insect-like legs reaching forward and ready to tear anything as they crawled. Entemo'at waits for Pero the android and Ceniyant to walk into the military tank-like cab of the chariot first with a gesture with his hand held out towards it.
"This will make our travels much more progressive.", Entemo'at said, his monotone decreasing the charm the words would have originally possessed. Entemo'at had almost began wondering about this "REND character, but was thrown off by the huddling of Ceniyant near his spirit's feeling aura. He thought again, and hoped that this "Titan" would not be an obstacle in his mission as he grabbed the chains that controlled the Reaper Chariot, and created a complementary weapon to go with it for him to hold: A very long scythe handle with first a glowing orb like a rod, then the orb forming into a gargantuan scythe blade based on Entemo'at's green aura of metal creating energies.
As Pero had also made his way onto the chariot to the available side of Entemo'at. The chariot then moved forward into the dire city grinding everything that was under it's trail. After the silence excluding the Reaper Chariot's traveling, a soft commotion, then the screaming of a hoard of what looked like female victims of Barmakog came riding on an eruption of huge vines as if they were dangling fruit from above. Their eye sockets were empty, their skin was like Barmakog's scales, and their stomachs were split open from an indescribable kind of atrocious act.
Entemo'at stops, and takes careful aim with his scythe's wide swipes in cutting two close groups of the "Womandragoras" in half. More seemed to continue to rain on the other two passengers, with Ceniyant being scared out of her wits and ducking under Entemo'at's armored cape.

Its pistons began to thunder and steam billowed out from his back. A faint blue light flashed on his visuals and a loud buzzing noise was heard. "Combat detected, computing tactical battle plan." Pero blasted out of the chariot and accelerated, flying towards a group of Womandragoras. It quickly switched out a classic syringe for an extremely large buzz-saw. Two of them lunged at Pero, but they were quickly decapitated by the saw. "Recommended treatment: Euthanasia." There was a large thud as an eviscerated corpse slammed into its back. Pero turned around and looked down. Pero slammed his drill-like fingers, injecting a paralysis toxin, into the Womandragora's throat and quick-switched to his syringe. "As your doctor. I acknowledge full responsibility of taking a sample in the event of a future emergency." The foot-long syringe was forcefully inserted into the base of the inserted vine. Once Pero finished, it crushed the corpse's throat and entered the sample into it's database. "Two queries: One, detecting genetic blend, require sample of original source. Two, incoming more cadavers. Contingency plan required." Seeing two larger groups of Womandragoras approaching, Pero switched out the syringe for an odd-looking handcannon. After a moments breath, it fired, emitting a huge blast of electric gel, quickly dispatching the cluster. "Continue? Y/N"

Despite the undoubted agony Rend experienced as his throat had been constricted by Barmakog's vines, his angered expression faltered only once, as the color of the sky above him inverted. As he laid on his back and gazed upward, he became very apparently worried.
"Raze..." he whispered to himself.
"WHASSAT? CAN'T HEAR YA FROM ALL THE WAY DOWN THERE" Barmakog teased.
Rend slammed his fist onto the ground, anger returning to his face. The moment his hand impacted the street, the earth below his back sprung upward, returning Rend to his feet. He then stomped the ground and a horrifying shriek pierced the air.
Each purple tendril that Barmakog had summoned fell from it's position and writhed eerily on the ground, the corpses at the ends screaming and howling before falling silent. The silence was broken by a buzz-saw's humming, which also ceased after a moment. It's wielder, a small robot, looked at the now still horror surrounding it. "...unexpected."
Rend stared Barmakog down. "Ground is closed for business."
Barmakog's grin turned to an annoyed frown as he stepped forward, swinging his arm in a wide arc on a collision coarse with Rend, but as the "Titan" slammed an open palm into the ground beneath his feet, the earth rose from below Barmakog's arm, forming a hand even larger than Barmakog's, which grabbed onto Rend's attacker, halting his momentum.
Rend rose his free hand into the air, formed a fist, then stopped to look at the now snared Barmakog.
"I'm the Reaper of Earth. She is my weapon. She is my armor. She is your end."
As Rend's fist struck the ground, it's enormous copy erupted from beneath Barmakog, sending him flying back into the same building he had collided with the first time.
Rend rose to his feet and wiped the earth from his hands as Barmakog steadied himself against the wreckage of the building with the same grin he had worn as he strangled Rend.
"So your planet's female, eh? You know what that means?"
Rend continued to stare at his opponent, who began to cackle hysterically. Suddenly, the laughter stopped and his face displayed only malice.
"IT MEANS SHE'S MINE."

Raze appeared in the fog near where Ruin's fight with Alex and Perry had taken place. He had assumed the fog would be thick, but he was bodaciously unable to see his own hand in front of his face if he stretched it as far as he could.
Being able to sense the other Reaper's locations, he knew Ruin was nearby, he just wasn't sure where in all the fog. He opened his mouth to call for her, but only screamed and fell backward as a bolt of lightning struck the ground only feet in front of him. The lightning was followed by Ruin's unmistakable scream. She was mad.
"Ruin!" Raze called out to her. "Ruin, wh-where are yyyou!?"
Not a second later, she bolted past where he was sitting, completely unaware that she had passed him. She screamed again and Raze heard several more lightning bolts hit the ground behind him. He stood and slowly began to walk to the sound of the chaos, when Ruin collided with him. The speed of the impact sent both of them flying and they dragged along the ground for several yards before stopping suddenly as Raze's head struck the base of a dead tree.
Ruin looked down at Raze from her position on top of him with a wide-eyed look of both surprise and worry. He seemed to be unconscious.
"Oh gods. Oh no." She lightly slapped the sides of his face in an attempt to wake him. "No, no, no... Not you, too. I can't lose both of you in one day... Please wake up... Please..."
Tears began to form in her eyes as anger crossed her face.
"Wake. UP." she screamed as she punched the ground next to his head. "WAKE UP!!" She grabbed his jacket and began to shake him. He blinked as he slowly returned to consciousness.
"Ow. Ow. Ruin. Ruin, st-st-stop. Ruin!" His confused expression was met with one of relief as she let go of his jacket and embraced him tightly.
"Raze, you booty! I was so scared!" Raze was still dazed, but completely satisfied with the situation. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "Ruin, I'm not g-gonna die from a b-... uuuump on the head."
"I know! I know... I'm just so... Everything today is just..." She sighed and rose to a standing position, offering a hand to Raze. He accepted it and pulled himself up.
"Ruin... are you ok-... okay?"
"Let's just find what we're looking for and get out of here."
"Wh-... Why were you runnnnn-... running around like that?"
"I CAN'T-..." She stopped and exhaled, trying to calm herself. She knew it wasn't Raze's fault, and she couldn't let herself take her frustration out on him. "I can't find anything in the fog. I swear it wasn't this bad before."
"It's t-too bad Roil isn't hhhh-... here. He'd just g-g-get rid of it. If you want, I c-... c-can go see if he'll help. He's alllllllmost at M-Mangaton now."
"NO!! ...no. I don't want anyone to know about this that doesn't NEED to know."
Raze nodded and began to look around for signs of Ruin's battle with the adventurers. This lasted a full few seconds before he heard Ruin gasp.
"What?? Wh-what is it?"
"IT WAS HERE. Raze, it happened RIGHT HERE. The tree you hit is the tree where they fought! Look for blood. You know how she works, she uses blood. When we find it, we'll find... her..."
Ruin choked back a whimper and Raze approached her, placing his hand on her shoulder. She immediately turned away and began to search the ground for signs of a struggle. Raze stood, saddened, for a moment before joining her. It was silent for several minutes as they searched. Finally, Ruin spoke softly.
"Raze... Raze, I found her."
Raze quickly ran to her. She sat cross-legged, clutching something in her hands, holding it close to her tear-stained face.
"Ruin... What d-d-... What did you find?"
She looked up at him with an expression that broke his heart and held her hands out, revealing a small pendant on a chain and a ring with a round, carved ruby in it's clasp. Both items had once been silver, but were now charred and black.
"Ruin..." Raze could think of no words that would be appropriate in this situation, and this made him feel even worse. He instead simply repeated her name a second and third time as he wrapped his arms around her. The pair sat in silence for the moment. Tears cascaded down Ruin's face as she did her best to cry out her frustrations so she would at least be composed when the returned with the news.
Finally, she removed Raze's arms from around her and rose, drying her face with her glove.
"C'mon, Raze. Let's go back to Mangaton."
She quietly took a step away from him before being consumed once more by the lightning. Raze sighed, wishing he could do more, before fading out of view.

"Ow. Ow.
