Hahahaaa.
..but no really
I honestly get confused when it comes to taking pictures at a funeral. Do you smile or just stand there looking all sad? Why would anyone want to take pictures there anyway? It's not like we'd put them all in a photo book and open it up one day and say "Oh look this was when Uncle Bob died. See how we're all so solemn and mournful? brb crying"
It's just stupid. I'll just stand there with an awkward half-smile as if to say "Well here I am. Yeah, this guy's dead but I'm taking a picture so I guess I'll try to smile just a little but also show how sad I am."

I've never understood American-style funerals. Or at least the open casket ones. Those must be confusing for young kids.
But then...hey! A Scottish funeral is normally sitting in church for a few hours praying/singing and whatnot and then the rest of the day is spent down the pub. Guys aren't allowed to cry unless it's a parent. I guess some people would find that strange.

My first (only)funeral was open casket for my Aunt. I mostly looked at my Aunt with great curiosity. My parents thought it would be important to show us this event.
Everyone was crying and hugging us but we were kinda like "Don't get it fully".
My family's cultural tradition is to party in celebration of their life for 3 days straight. Hur
Kinda weird my birthday was that week. What a way to celebrate it!

When I die I'll just have my body airmailed to some starving cannibals.

If they were starving they would have eaten each other already.
