What I mean is that we did say that a lot here in the US, but its just that England is not often thought of by yunguns as a "free country"Tales wrote:haha, I mean like some kids used to say it say if you said 'be quiet' they'd say 'it's a free country'.Indecisive wrote:Sounds weird coming from a kid in EnglandTales wrote:I never said 'it's a free country' everyday.
Also, I am 17.5 and I have never even been on a date, never had my first facebattle or anything, I never heard of pogs, never played a dreamcast, and I never read goosebumps (I couldve if I wanted to, since my sister had dozens, but Im not really a horror story/movie person)
or 'make me', oh goodness.

I am now legally responsible for all my actions. I will have to move out of my parent's house. I will have to get a job. I will have to pay for my own food, clothes, and shelter. I will not have summers off. If I get caught skipping, I won't get detention; I'll get fired.

However, I do remember when getting a new game was a huge deal. When it was actually exciting, and I couldn't wait to start playing it and see what it was like. Now, getting a new game just feels so... normal. I don't even bother finishing a lot of them anymore.
I also remember when I joined this forum. I honestly find it amazing how much I feel I've changed since then. I mean, it was only a little more than a year ago. Heh, I remember how I had no idea how to get an avatar. I don't mean that I didn't realize that uploading to site didn't work, I mean that I had trouble grasping the concept of "image hosting sites" and things like that.
...I was kind of naive, wasn't I?
This was stuck at the bottom of the last page and I MUST BE NOTICED

It saddens me that the next generation of gamers won't ever play a good Sonic game. Or the fact that the game industry seems to be leaning to the whole shooter genre then the good old games.

I probably am the way I am now because of you guys.
I'm not sure whether to thank you or punch you in the face.
You took my childhood, but you gave me something better!
