"Insane, me thinks. Probably best to let him go"
The Bouncer chimed in, as inspects the punch-ified hole.
"Like hell I will!" The pirate exclaimed. She straightened the feather in her hat, then raced off after the clinically insane man. "Mander, wait! I, er, we need your illogical logic!"

Angie Nickinson's expression softened after she was done intimidating the man in the helmet, but she continued to lock her gaze in his direction. She could use one like him for help...he looked strapping enough.

"You there, what's your name?"

(Aaah I should be using pictures but I am doing homework right now)

"Need of my illogical logic? That doesn't make sense even to me!"

Mander walked up to Lyra and tossed his shovel into her hands.

"Despite your insanity, Captain, I look forward to serving with you. The fastest way to China with our available resources would be to dig, obviously, so begin digging."

Lyra stared at the shovel in her hands.

"Fine then, Don't dig!" Mander snatched his shovel back. "We can go the boring way and investigate the Chinese Wood Lumberyard I buy my Sand Pear Wood stakes from."

Another mass stare. He pulled a wooden stake out of his coat.

"Sand Pear Stakes are the only effective defense against Jiang Shi Vampires!"

(I have made so many obscure references.)

"Hello?" iconsting repeated, "Did I come at a bad time?" He called, a little louder. No reply.

With nothing left to do, he wandered into another room, hoping to find someone.

When she scurried out the back, no one gave any immediate notice to her exit. She had a natural aura that was wraith-like in presence and haunting in absence. She spoke little and had striking eyes that exposed the very essence of mystery.

...But her escape from the room was largely due to the fact that it held no more than five people at the moment.

Quick on her feet, she went out, took the first two lefts, then a right, and headed down the alley. At the end stood a man, half hidden by shadow, half by the ridiculous garb of a fully-covering black mask, a dull brown trench-coat, and a Fedora in a similar shade.

She was the first to break the silence.
Well? Is everything in order?
Not quite.
Came the response.
What do you mean 'not quite'?
If you could have seen through the mask, one would know just how nervous the masked man was about answering that question.
The Bride...Has been-Well...Abducted, I suppose. No one knows of her whereabouts.
In the dark alleyway, silence reigned.
Abducted?
Er. Yes, Madame.
Well, find her. You were put in charge of making certain that she arrived here safely with the groom. And you will. I'll be taking care of the rest from there.
Frustrated by the shadowy figure's incompetence in supervising such a simple task, she began to head back to the Reception.

DERP. I hate how the colouring came out, but I need to practice it so whatever.

The captain pulled her sword out of its sheath and pointed it towards the horizon. "Tally ho, my good men! Mander, lead the way!" Just like old times. Before her crew had decided they could do a better job than her and taken over the Seamiser. All she had now was the dinky little rowboat she'd christened Martyr.
