That's funny, because as soon as I saw this thread, the first thing I thought of was how the scientist guy and the mechanic guy in Blade Runner had a long-distance chess game going.

She gets you in your sleep. That's what they all said. The children in the villages back home even sang a song about it. Fynn didn't even want to try and remember the words. Every time he got a picture of that evil, black bitch in his mind, he just got angry, not scared. All those horrible things she's done, all those awful things that happened while she just stood by... it made him sick to his core. He curled up next to his small fireplace, trying to find some warmth, as always. He didn't even hear it when she came. He did feel, though. Did he ever.



Rook loved to run. It always made him feel... better. Like he was making progress. Running was good. It was not, then, in anybody's best interest to get in hsi way when he was running, no matter how brave they were feeling. Rook didn't like it when people stopped him running. He didn't like it at all.
