Yes it is. From what I've seen a fetish means nothing. The person is still a normal, functioning human being.

Oops, I suppose "stable" isn't exactly the right word choice there.

I meant more as if to say she seemed like a shy, quirky girl when I met her, and suddenly I learn she has this weird fetish.
Of course there isn't anything wrong with that, it's just kind of shocking. It's like knowing this really nice girl for a while and you hang out sometimes and then one day you learn she was secretly into BDSM.
