This person contacted me when I first created my dA. This person noticed that I had drawings of dogs and other animals and asked me any tips about how to draw. I told this person that in order to draw well, it was important to learn about the fundamentals of art (line, shape, color, etc.) and after you have a good grasp on that, you should then go on to studying the anatomy, doing sketches on the skeletal structure, etc. Then, you can draw the animal in any pose with or without ref. Of course, being a fucker, this asshole told me "but I tried that and it didn't work for me." Seriously, just look at the gallery that he has.

Terrible, terrible, terrible.
