We wouldn't have a lot of time, since it only takes 8 minutes for light to reach us from the sun. A supernova wouldn't be much to far behind it. I would guess at a half-hour at best. Besides, the initial radiation (which again, only take 8 minutes), would be nasty enough to keep us occupied until we're consumed by the inferno.

Sorry for the lack of chatting but I've been having to go half way across town and back. So thanks to all who wished me a pop flyin' birthday and all that fun stuff. :awesome:
Also, the whole "12 minutes" thing was a random number from my head so don't hate me for it :psyduck:
