I was just told of a youtube series by a friend. I heard that it's extremely creepy and involved the "Slender Man" myth from SomethingAwful forums.
Here's a synopsis that I found about the series:
Marble Hornets is a YouTube video series that has spawned a bit of a debate on SA. The series is not over yet, but it's definitely unnerving so far and gives off a bit of a House of Leaves vibe.
The plot involves this guy's friend Alex giving him these tapes that he had been recording. Apparently he'd been recording himself at all times during a production of a student film he was making, called Marble Hornets. In these videos, Alex is haunted by a legend known as Slender Man. For those not in the know, Slender Man is a sort of legend/rumor/meme that started on Something Awful a long time ago, and it was basically this bald-headed figure in a business suit that appeared in the background of pictures. He would abduct children and sometimes adults and kill them. It's said that whoever can see him is either a target or a victim. For more details, check here: Slender Man.
There are, as of right now, 16 videos plus the introduction. The scares are pretty atmospheric; sometimes Slender Man will haunt Alex directly, other times it's more subtle. Keep an eye on the background and for other various clues in the videos. There aren't really any jump-scares, but there are points where the audio fucks up to deafening levels, so be weary with how high you put the volume up.
Most of the entries are roughly 2 minutes long (only two go above 5 minutes in length), yet they still manage to set the mood pretty well.
These are all pretty creepy and to top it all off the guy posting the videos how has a Twitter account, talking about how he's starting to lose sleep and feeling the paranoia that Alex felt. I recommend looking through it after you finish the videos. He also links to videos from ToTheArk, an anonymous user who has been posting bizarre and somewhat unsettling responses to videos after Entry 9. A lot of them are written in code and little is known about them. You should definitely check them out once you watch the other videos.

I hope not godamnit!
And for those of you who are confused about the identity of Totheark:
he isn't nessesarily "Masky" (those of you who don't know who "Masky is... GTFO). Totheark is someone who is related to the slenderman in someway (a "Slender hunter" maybe?) but he isn't nessesarily masky. He HAS been watching J though (see "Exit) and he HAS been involved with Alex's house (he says "Return to us" in "Attention")
just putting that out there

And wasn't it an actual story?
I asked Tuxedo Mask about it, in his words: "Nope, SA. /x/ just loves him because he's "paranormal", but it started on SA with some guy talking about a "tall, slender man" standing... I forget if it is was in the middle of the road or at the end of his driveway or something. They took a picture with their cellphone and that was the start of Slenderman."
I like watching the videos but they don't creep me out at all. I jumped once while watching them because I was listening so intently to the video for any sound indicating Slenderman or Masky, that when someone slammed a door in the hallway I jumped like a foot.
