Don't get me wrong - The Bass is an essential part of any band, it provides the backbone for most songs, and nothing can beat a good bassline. So if you find a good bassist, hold on to them because they could make or break the band.
But have you ever heard a Bass solo? They just tend not to be as enjoyable as those from other instuments, like the guitar and the trumpet. Unless they're played by masters like John Entwistle.
And anyway, if we're talking about musical variety and nescessity the grand piano or the keyboard are the best instruments by far.
But when it all comes down to it, it's really the skill and feel that the mucician has for a particular instrument that dictates how 'good' it is.
Anyhow, back on topic, for Christmas I'm probably going to get Assassins Creed 2 and I might end up buying a new instument with any cheddar I get. As well as buying some vintage clothes - suits are the way to go.

Wow!
The gun/guitar(bass) would solve my dilema of how to kill zombies and have background music at the same time!

Dear Santa.
I want Spirit Tracks, some cash (to pay for my preorders in january) and a new guitar strap for Christmas.
This should not be unreasonable.

yes somebody else knows who they are - nobody else apart from me and you seem to listen to them.
I want Loz: Spirit tracks, some cheddar, some books and maybe if theres any space left some clothes, although I don't really need them as I got some recently.
