PC to Android gaming questions.

I would love to get a small gaming laptop but I can't shell out a couple grand for a Sager 13 inch. I see people using kainy or splashtop on youtube.
My questions are, how well does this work; can I use a controller; and can it be done online away from my home WiFi?
I know it will be crappy compared to playing at home, but I don't have desposable income. bitlife
