You will find that a lot of people on this board are, and a lot are not. It doesn't really matter. Not to mention how does that person even know if you are a virgin or not? You may have had sex and the only person to know may be your partner. Its not like you have to tell everyone as soon as you do it.

This topic seems to come up often here, but I suppose it is inevitable with the board being comprised of people in the age range of 14-25.

I wouldn't worry about it, you will eventually have it if you so want to.

As for waiting for marriage and what not? Well thats a solid plan, but sometimes you may want to know what all the hoopla is about and its not bad to know if you are "sexually compatible" with someone before you actually marry them. I am not saying everyone should have sex out of marriage but I am also not saying that everyone should only have sex while married. Today's society is a lot more lenient on that than it was back then.

Another thing, when/if you do have it, prepare for it to be awkward, unsatisfying and anti-climactic pun definitely intended.

I don't think it was the act of sex itself, so much so that he and some of us by association, are like secondary life forms for it.

The world apparently must have bigotry to keep on spinning, but we're running out of things to really hate people for within our own society. As teens and early adults nowadays, we're just grasping at straws.

Also, don't sweat it. Who knows how many of us here are and are not virgins, its not like it really matters. Just because someone has admitted to having it does not make them cooler or better than anyone. Remember you could have it all the time and no one would know if you didn't want to. You would just laugh to yourself every time someone called you a virgin because you would know the truth.

The people who are telling you that probably don't even know what love is. Disregard their opinion, because all they're doing is taking one of the most important expressions of love and acting like it's just "something to do on a Friday night". Don't let them get to you, because chances are by the time they realize what love is they'll have a lot of regrets.

Just wait until you're in truly in love, comfortable, and ready. But I think you already know that.
