Feels nice to see there is cool stuff I might actually see when I get older and am not in a tiny Kentucky town which has churches, restaurants, and stores for entertainment. Was in London, but I bet there is cool stuff elsewhere.
Ha, I know your pain with the tiny Kentucky town thing. We have one under equipped gym here and a couple pool halls and that's about it for entertainment. Worst thing is in the winter when I check the tv for school closings and have to wait for it to cycle through all the churches first. Takes nearly 10-15 minutes sometimes.

Got myself a job. Seems I'll be doing the same job as I did last three summers but I don't mind, it's a decent job.

Three thunderstorms in three days, and the trees around the house are all in flowers and the rain amplifies the smell.

I got to see Godzilla today. I liked it. I'm not sure how well it stacks up to the old ones, since I've not seen them since I was 5 or 6, but it was alright. I also made a couple new friends, so that's got me in a good mood. Been a good day, 10/10 would live it again.

My guitar arrived in Arizona!

Now just a week until I arrive, too.

Woke up in the middle of the night, no one was online to talk to and I was a little bored, so I decided to re-read over a conversation I've been having with friends over a webcomic/book/whatever I'm trying to get off the ground after so many years. This is probably my favorite quote from them:
[4/19/2014 4:27:25 AM] Kim Possible: i can see a fan asking "does it ever get pop flyin'"

and you look down at them

and set them on fire
Dunno if it's just because it's 6:30 or if this is actually amusing. The end kinda goes off to monopoly world though.

[4/19/2014 4:32:43 AM] Luigi is Number 3: THEY MUST BE BROKEN AND THEY MUST MEND THEMSELVES.

[4/19/2014 4:33:00 AM] Luigi is Number 3: THIS IS A HOUSE OF BROKEN PLATES.
[4/19/2014 4:33:06 AM] Luigi is Number 3: YOU'RE GONNA GET CUT SOMETIMES.
[4/19/2014 4:33:17 AM] Luigi is Number 3: BUT WHEN YOU DON'T, IT'S ALL PRETTY NICE, ISN'T IT?
[4/19/2014 4:33:20 AM] Kim Possible: why wouldn't you throw out those plates
[4/19/2014 4:33:26 AM] Luigi is Number 3: AREN'T YOU pop flyin' FOR THE TIMES WHERE YOU DON'T GET CUT?
[4/19/2014 4:33:26 AM] Kim Possible: just get new ones
[4/19/2014 4:33:40 AM] Luigi is Number 3: BUT THEN YOU WOULDN'T APPRECIATE THE TIMES YOU DON'T GET CUT.
[4/19/2014 4:33:46 AM] Luigi is Number 3: YOU'D JUST BE BORED.
[4/19/2014 4:33:59 AM] Luigi is Number 3: IT'D BE THE SAME AS GOING ANYWHERE ELSE AND NOT GETTING CUT BY PLATES.
[4/19/2014 4:34:05 AM] Luigi is Number 3: BUT THAT'S THE SUSPENSE.
[4/19/2014 4:34:10 AM] Luigi is Number 3: YOU COME TO MY HOUSE.
[4/19/2014 4:34:20 AM] Luigi is Number 3: YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN OR IF YOU'RE GOING TO GET CUT.

[4/19/2014 4:35:16 AM] Kim Possible: this is why no one would go to your house

[4/19/2014 4:38:38 AM] Luigi is Number 3: They're $300 monopoly cheddar each.
[4/19/2014 4:38:46 AM] Kim Possible: none

[4/19/2014 4:39:07 AM] Luigi is Number 3: Okay, but I'm telling you, you can sell it to the shoe for $600 easy down the line.
[4/19/2014 4:39:27 AM] Luigi is Number 3: And then you can buy New York Avenue.
[4/19/2014 4:39:33 AM] Luigi is Number 3: and win the game.

Because my teacher uses the plus/minus system on grades, my calculus class isn't lowering my GPA as much as I thought it would. Combine that with two As being practically guaranteed, and I'm more than set to keep my scholarship despite a rocky freshman year. Fuck yeah.

I felt like I was going to do really bad in history this semester because I wrote the term paper the last week before it was due and I knew It wasn't as good as it could be, but I wound up getting an 'A' in the class anyway.

I got scholarships from two of my clubs. Filipino Club and Drama Club. All together it's $750! I'm just pop flyin' that they acknowledged and liked me enough for the award.

Finally got closure on something shitty a 'friend' did months ago.

Never have I felt better about realizing someone is a piece of shit. God. I can't believe she called my old ex, her own cousin, a sociopath.

Also on the plus side: I handle anger so much better now than I used to, apparently.

This has been a day of wonderful self discovery.

Not in the least. Young and unprepared for a relationship, to be sure (who isn't, their first time?), and less than gifted when it came to facing problems, but not by any means a sociopath.

Girl who called her a sociopath, though? I wouldn't be surprised, after tonight. Her inability to empathize with basic human emotion is simply staggering.
