Teachers and students having sex. In college, it's all consensual regarding age, of course, but what do you think? Do professionals have a responsibility to keep it in their pants in this situation? Or is it a case of mutual responsibility?
please stop that right now

If it's underage, it's definitely a no-go.

But in college, it's... iffy, but not so bad if the student isn't one of your students.

But keeping it in your pants is the best idea.

For high school and lower grade levels: completely unacceptable. But I think we can all agree on that.

In college it's much different. I think that as long as the teacher and student love each other, it should be condoned as long as the student is not currently in the teacher's class (accusations from other students and favoritism being the main reasons). If it's purely a "booty call", grade booster, etc., then it should not be allowed at all.

Although I can't really say that I agree with anyone going all the way on the first date. But that's just me. But hey; if two people are old enough to legally be together and truly love each other, then they can do what they want.

No if the student is in the professor's class, yes otherwise.

Somehow I doubt we're going to be finding a differing opinion here.

As seen in..... Blank Page? You need to actually say where you found it, not just "A reliable source".

Well actually I got it from a news article that...didn't cite it's source...

The Irony here is incredible.

What the freakin' hell? I screamed in rage when I read this. If I had a small item to throw at a wall, I would have.

In three or four years there probably won't be any insurance agencies, (or alternatively, just one insurance company pulling all the strings.) Any way this healthcare reform goes, things are going to get messy there. I'm not saying we don't need some form of change, as seen above, but we need to untangle the string before we need to knit a sweater. ((Wow, that was horrible.))

Something that occurs to me, is that yes, while this is bad, and something needs to be addressed legally about insurance companies doing stuff like that. There needs to be more legal protection for rape victims in the realm of health insurance.

But yeah, I look at Medicare and Medicaid. Is the current health industry industry bad? Hell yeah. But the things that Medicare and Medicaid fail to cover are far worse.

I have a hard time believing that Obama's healthcare plan isn't ultimately going to end up similar to the other two health insurance programs the government has put out.

Then again, that seems to describe the government in general. Promise roses and sunshine, and after the bill passes, it completely fails to live up to the promise and often even makes stuff worse. It often seems like the government is completely out of touch with the reality of the world, and what they should and should not be doing.
