If you believe in Frued, everything is a sex talk.

This thread always seems to die for small periods of time.

Can we discuss censorship of art or something?

Well, we could try discussing how people should stop using the word "sexist" like it's always a bad thing considering that technically having things like separate public bathrooms is sexist, but that's really a grammar/vocabulary thing rather than an actual issue.

So uh, I had this dream where I was 14 again, and I was getting married to the girlfriend I had back then. This freaked the shit out of me, because I view divorce the most blasphemous thing you can ever do to a church. Even more so than killing everyone in a Cathedral and shitting all over the altar.

Marriage is more than just something that binds people together. It's holy matrimony. Holy. When you agree to marry someone you're upholding the laws of that religion (or at least that's how I see it).

Also, the dream ended with me loading a previous save.

about 50% of marriages end in divorce. i'm not very religious, but it definitely should be taken a lot less lightly. i think a lot of people rush into marriage too soon.

I think that one of things that throws the statistics off a bit is those people who get divorced like 7 or 8 times. I don't think that fifty percent of people who get married end up getting divorced.

Solution to divorce? No marriage. Less marriage there is, less divorce there will be too.

That's kind of my point, make sure you're ready for a life-long commitment before you do it.
