Thoughts?
Seriously though, I can see where the bus driver is coming from. If it's a fetish, keep that shit private. If it's abuse, call the authorities. Either way, that's really... weird. Just like parents keeping their kids on a leash.

I think fetishes should be kept private, but not allowing them to board is not okay.

I mean, collars are one thing. I used to wear a collar when I wasn't in a D/s relationship because I liked how it looked, but a leash too is something that should be kept private.

The thing being is that someone on a leash isn't bad. Like, at all. sure, its a fetish but it isn't bad. Its not like you see someone walking around in a Gimp mask or with whips. I just fail to see an issue with collars.

I personally don't care if a person has a fetish, as long as that fetish isn't nonconsensual sex.

However, I'm also of the opinion that fetishes need to be kept in your own home.

If they aren't doing anything untasteful or disgusting, then I don't see why it would be a problem.

I would consider leading someone around on a leash to be distasteful.

I mean sure, fuck yeah, that's hot and kinky. I could see me and my partner playing with that in bed. But that's not appropriate for public.

I guess it's just an opinion thing *shrug*

I agree, it's distasteful. I'm sure people are proud of who they are and what they're into but it's nice to have some common courtesy and to keep private matters like that in the bedroom.

They shouldn't have been kept off the bus like that though. That is unfair.

I guess its just how liberal you are with yourself. I'm very open-minded, so I don't have a problem with it.

I like how everyone seems to correlate 'leash' with 'sex'.

I... don't have a problem with it as a style statement. But I do have a problem with it in terms of that it's something that, for physical reasons, shouldn't be done. Aside from being actually very dangerous (remember, human necks aren't as resilient to fatal damage as dog necks), it's also very suspicious; in the same way that if someone had their hands binded and carried around that way.

Uh... I take you don't know a lot about D/s relationships.

And the leash thing, it's not someone yanking another person around. They're walking, not running or anything

To elaborate on that, for the heck of it.

Dom/Sub relationships, if they are a healthy relationship... who do you think is in control? If you say the Dom, you are wrong. The sub should be in absolute control of everything that is going on.

It's funny in a way.

I don't think I could get into that.

But kids on leashes...Now that's sort of funny. Horrible too.

Keep in mind, it's not always a question of sexuality. I'm sure if you walked past the right person with a leash around your neck, they could view it as a issue of sexism. There are people out there that would view a girl with a leash on as being oppressed.

Nevertheless, it's weird in public. :colbert:

What if it was a guy on a leash?
