Well, I didn't think of that, so--I can't really comment on that.

But still. It's like seperating people based on race or sexuality or, well, anything just because someone could be killed.

Everyone has a shot at life. And I'm sorry, that did sound stupid. I meant besides America, most of Europe and parts of Asia babies with mental or physical deformities are killed. Hell, in China some people still practice the thing where the female baby is killed or thrown out of the household when it's born for not being a male, simply because the male is regarded as superior. Most chinese nowadays don't take it that far anymore, but...

Babies with mental disabilities?! How the heck are they meant to test for that on birth? I mean, abandoning children from some big physical thing is one thing (that is still very rare anywhere), but there's nowhere that makes a point to kill people for being mentally disabled! I mean, unless it's something really serious, like being completely devoid of function or such.

Sounds like you've been spending too much time in Hollywood to me!

I almost got beaten to death once when I was about 7.
This big, drooling guy who could hardly keep his eyes open and always had a weird smile on his face picked me up (he was very strong, and I only weighed about 25-30kg at the time) and threw me against a tree. He then yelled something nonsensical and he started crying. He picked up a stick and after what felt like an eternity he then he left me bleeding and broken at that tree, my body too damaged to actually move. A day or so later a policeman found me and I was in hospital for about 6 months.

tl;dr A retard almost killed me.

[I have always liked cops ever since, and hold them in the highest regard.]

well, according to survival of the fittest, retards are not as fit, so they will be eliminated.

however, this is civilization. most special needs people are not violent, but they will still be shunned by society. most will never be able to fit in. they can also by annoying and violent. so what should we do? seclude them? try telling a mother that her child is a menace to society and needs to be isolated, or even killed. why even have them live if they'll be shunned?

i think, logically, the best thing to do is to have them eliminated. but i'm morally against it :/
