Don't even get me started on alcoholics and druggies. Nothing pisses me off more than when one of them pops out a baby and it's severely handicapped in some god-awful way because of their dumb booty. Either that or they have some horrendous STD and pass it to their kids.

Seriously, there are "parents" who have fucking herpes in their mouth, and they facebattle their miracle of a non-deformed child ON THE FUCKING EYE when they have an outbreak. Then guess what? The poor kid's brain is eaten and turned to slush and no one can do anything about it.

This is why I can't understand pro-life people. There are children born into the world who are only going to die the most horrendous and unavoidable death. Why make them go through that?

Why give these people our cheddar so they can kill their children?

Well if a baby was going to be born with a disease that would kill it anyway I'd say that it was okay.

And of course by "It's going to die soon anyway logic" you neglect that fact that ALL death is unavoidable.

I pretty much agree with everything that Torizo just said.

But the pro-lifers would argue "SOME LIFE IS BETTER THAN NO LIFE" even though most people don't even start to retain memories until they're at the very, very least a few months old.

Hell, I don't even remember anything before I was 3 or 4. And since supposedly those "special years" where you really have to nurture children is only until age 6, that means I only member half of them. Way to go, brain of mine.

Actually, that's referred to infancy amnesia or something like that.

I'm not sure this is necessarily a taboo topic, but I'm putting it here anyway because it concerns IRL people with severe mental disabilities. Short bus. Retards. Whatever you wanna call them. Figured it was probably potentially offensive.

Anyway. I was at this free concert thingy at the local mall, standard thing with cover bands. The viewing population was filled mostly with families and their children; very tame upper-middle class white people stuff. And then a busload of very special needs adults showed up. I don't know if it was a field trip for them or what. Now instead of sitting down and listening to the music, they decided to get up in front of the stage, and dance wildly and badly with absolutely no correlation to the music for several hours until the concert ended.

The audience seemed to be split in their opinions about those folks. Some people were rather disgusted by their fairly out of control behavior, while other folks thought it was cute that they were having fun just being themselves. At first, I was in the latter group, which thought it was cute. But as it went on, it struck me in my mind as something more, I guess sinister about their actions? It wasn't so much that they were being brave enough to get up and have fun even though they might be mocked. The reality was, that they were so utterly socially deficient, that they did not understand that what they were doing was socially unacceptable for the environment. To the point that even the little children in the audience did not desire to join in with them dancing.

As cruel as it is for me to say, I think that mentally disabled people should be confined away from regular people. It's not that I believe that they're disgusting or might infect others or something stupid like that, it's just I think that it's better for both parties of they're seperated because one party may harm that other, or vice versa. Of course the mentally disabled probably wouldn't do it on purpose, but I'm talking more about how regular people would harm them. You'd be suprised about how many people flatout think that the retarded should be killed and thrown away. It's not right.

Like that one episode of Family Guy when they were forced to go to Texas. Yeah.

Well what would you prefer? That, or them being killed on the spot for their disabilites? They can't exactly blend in with normal society either. It'd be better if they stay with others like them.

I mean, it is technically, but every school has separated classrooms for challenged kids. It's a bit insensitive to say, but yeah, some of them are sort of...distracting.
