This is why so many teenages are pregnant - irresponsibility, misunderstanding, or simple disregard.

Condoms actually do numb the feelings of sex. Teens will abandon this form of contraception to get the most of the experience, but condoms are the second best contraceptive, only standing behind birth control pills.

However, most teenager girls don't actually fully comprehend how their birth control works. If you miss even one pill, you can end up pregnant. That's how they work. So if a girl messes up her pills for just ONE day, suddenly, she could end up with a child.

If you miss a number of pills, you can't even make them up. Depending on the brand, you can't pop more than one or two pills at a time, or else you will overdose. I can speak from personal experience of this - I forgot my pills at home one weekend when I went to visit my friend, who lived in an entirely different town. I couldn't exactly just run back and get them, so I ended up going without them for three days.

When I got back home, I popped all three, since my directions said if I had missed two pills, I could take those two at the same time. BIG. MISTAKE. That one pill caused me to overdose, which sent my body into a "forced period". I suffered severe abdominal pain, and spent an entire day throwing up, trying to get what was essentially poison to me, out of my system.

But even in that instance, I was lucky. I could have ended up in the hospital, or fucked up my body for life.

It's the best method of preventing pregnancy, but it's still VERY risky business. I take the pills, but make Tuxedo Mask use condoms as well.

A lot of teenagers don't take these precautions, and... look where they end up.

Teenagers are stupid.

It sometimes shames me to be among their number.

I like the morning after pill personally.

Or the birth control shot.

Fuck birth control pills and/or condoms.

I have a friend who has had an abortion before. She now takes the Birth Control shot and tells me that's one of the best ways to go.

I despise needles but I hate throwing up more so I think I'd prefer that than the pills.

Don't those of you who rely solely on the pill worry about STDs?

Those things can fuck you up y'know.
Ame no Akai wrote:Condoms do more than just prevent one from becoming pregnant.

STDs and all.
What he said.

Jeezus, never thought I'd see the day where guys are en-ratio more conscientious about safe sex than girls.

Well, I can't speak for everyone in the group, seeing as how I'm not the same gender as at least half, but I believe that not everyone is looking for one night stands and random tail. A level-headed person would obviously then talk more on the side of condoms than a pill or shot. Those that have posted about the pill are most likely in a committed relationship in which things to this effect may have already been discussed with their companions, as private as they are.

Ah yeah, that's probably right for some of them.

I'm talking from experience of other people outside of the forum too though.

Some of that irl stuff is scary.

Re: pedophiles

I feel, sorta sorry for them. I mean, for whatever reason (usually abuse), the person is attracted to children. They can't help it, it's actually very sad.

If they act on it, though, I think they should be put away. A person like that is just dangerous.

This. The posts were coming off as assuming we just slept with anyone, and I personally found it really angering. Thanks guys, way to word your posts!

Edit: Also, most teenage girls aren't actually all that horny or care about sex. It's about pleasing the guy, not themselves. Thus why condoms are often tossed out the window - because it's mostly the guy that loses out on feeling when condoms are involved. Guys think about the act of sex itself - girls think about sex with that specific guy at that point in time, not the pleasure of the activity.

I don't have to worry about birth control.

However, gay males are basically a roulette for HIV/AIDS, so condoms are basically mandatory. It really sucks, because the second I found out I was gay, it was like "OH BOY SEX WILL BE EASIER" but HAHAHA NO. Honestly, when I get into a relationship, I'm not going to be afraid to ask my partner to get tested with me. Get tested, wait a week, share the results. It doesn't seem like a hassle, but I suppose for those guys that don't really invest in the relationship, it's a burden...

If men are the promiscuous half of sex, male-male relationships are basically flings squared. It really sucks.

But as for pregnant bitches, serves you right.

I'm only going to assume you missed this.

And I'm assuming you missed my point in adding that little penny. :/

Level-headed, being the keyword.

Reminds me of that one comic...

"What I heard: Anal sex is awesome!
What I did: Can we have anal sex?
What I got: OH GOD URINAL INFECTION!"

You are not safe even if it's with a woman, bwahahaha!

Before I ever begin a sexual relationship with anyone, I will make them get a test for STD's.
No if ands or buts. I don't want to encounter one of those people that get off from transferring their STD's to their partners. D:

I think that's a crass generalisation.

I prefer females who have more self respect and think using a condom is important.

Also, some males think it's important that the female gets pleasure out of the activity too.

I get rustled off and really offended when females talk openly about how all men only want one thing and they're shit at that too...

It just reflects on them - showing they have really bad taste in males.

Note: I edited out girl/woman to female in order to avoid any confusion regarding the other conversations going on here. d:
