I forget exactly what the penalty for it was at my school, but I heard a couple dudes missed our graduation due to failing a class from the credit they lost on that day, had to go to night school and get their diplomas a few months later or something.

I can't participate in a Senior Skip Day even if my class was doing one. You see, at my school if you miss more than 6 days the whole year, you cannot get exempt from exams, and doctor appointments count against you. I'm at 6 days, I can't afford to miss anymore. It's stupid I know.
My class isn't doing any pranks, but the seniors last year stole an item for each of the teachers and held them hostage. The thing is, they announced it on the video announcements, and you can get expelled for using the video equipment without permission.
The only thing worse than the moments before your final...is being out of the room for half an hour, and realizing you made a stupid mistake on one of the problems.

None of the teachers cared, hell someone of them actually wanted us to skip (my gov't teacher hated the school, was shit compared to the others he worked at. I agree'd). The seniors apparently cut down a tree and used it to block off the car entrance to the school.I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.
My school actually endorsed this idea. I thought it was stupid and when I was the only senior at school that day the teachers looked at me like I had sprouted an extra head.
YESSSS! I just found out that I'm getting out of environmental science too! That means I only have to take 3 exams out of 7. I am excite. I pays to be a nerd.
