Sherlock Holmes movie

When I first saw it, I was like "WHAT THE HELL?!" Even thought I'm not a HUGE fan of the series of books, I DO know that they're mysteries in which Sherlock Holmes uses simple reasoning and deduction to figure out what happened.
When I saw this trailer, I saw a generic action movie, which is probably what they were going for, seeing as the general movie-going audience won't go see something unless there's an explostion, jumping long distances, or Will Smith.
But then again, this is just a trailer. Maybe my assumption will be wrong and it will be more psychological, kind of like
Watchmen and it's trailer.
Anyway, what do you think?

dunno if ill see it, depends when it comes out and if up at school or not.
but cmon steampunk + robert downey jr. + jude law + sherlock holmes = win? who cares if its actiony

I'm glad they got rid of the deerstalker. They're specifically making this film in a way that challenges traditional views of Sherlock in the past. For example, no longer is he wearing a deerstalker.
"(Guy) Ritchie (Director) wanted his Holmes' costume to play against the popular image of the character, joking "there is only one person in history who ever wore" a deerstalker. Downey selected the character's fedora. "
I, for one, will view this film with open arms and a rock-hard boner for Robert Downey.
