Well, I think that's kinda normal since you continue the story based on what people post here. But I think alltogether is what makes it so great to read more often again.
Oh, and a suggestion on how to continue here. I think it's time again to dig a tunnel!

Well if Silver would appear, then only as a little cameo like Hiro, I think the story would get distracted a little too much then.
