What?

Post by Dzone »

I just learned. Easter is today on my side of the U.S. (WEST), but it doesn't happen until the 19th on the east! Weird. Unless Wikipedia is lying to me.

Discuss.

EDIT:
April 12 (Western)
April 19 (Eastern)
Do you think it means East and West HEMISPHERES? I'm confused. Here's the page.

Well, there's your problem.

Though, I'm not sure if that's true or not. There is a part of the article that talks about the difference of Eastern and Western, i.e. Europe/Asia are Eastern, we are Western in the US. Out east they call is Pascha. I could be wrong, I only skimmed the article.

Hey, here's a fun fact: there are more than one calendar systems in the world. Sorta makes you look narrow-minded there.
Yes, its true.

The biggest difference in dates between them was on 2002 and 2005, where there was a 34-day difference between them.
