I want to say congrats, but I'm too busy being jealous/raging. mainly because my laptop is a piece of failure for reasons I've listed somewhere else here.

Enjoy being 18. Cant wait till I turn 18, in two weeks. and two years.

Also: I have this huge scratch on my upper leg that stings like hell and was bleeding for a while. I'm kinda worried, but not that much. Though having no normal sized band-aids around really doesn't help.

Depends. Do you actually have cheddar for a real costume, or are you like me and just have enough for various scraps and make up crappy costumes?

If it's A, pick a favorite show and dress up like a favorite character. If it's B, just buy those really cheap masks and build soemthing around that, like I do because I'm awesome(ly poor during September/October.)

A lot of characters I like have outfits too cold to wear at that point (Rin, Edward... just off the top of my head) But I'll try to think of something.

I went to teh Fan Expo on teh Weekend.
it was teh first convention I have ever attended.
Thar was a girl who wore nothing but body paint, Panties, and Tape.

:awesome:

I'm going again next year, with more cheddar this time. Going to a convention with only 30 bucks in your pocket is teh stupidest idea ever.
So I wasn't able to get Bruce Campbells autograph

All I managed to snag was a Least I Can Do tshirt. (I am not a credible Source)
Altho I did hang out with teh Blind Ferret crew for while though.
And I got to meet teh Honky Tonk Man and teh Iron Sheik :awesome:

AND I got a free PSP.

So all and all, it was a good weekend.

Well, I shoulda pointed out that B is always an option when A is. Allows for a little more creativity and costs a whole lot less. or at least it should.

Probably isn't a helpful point, but cant hurt to point out. ALSO, if tha outfit is too cold, do something like a character that wears sweaters or jackets or something. Good excuses.

...Why am I giving out advice on halloween costumes when that's not for two months and I usually end up just making tha whole daisies thing half an hour before I sit outside and hand out candy and hope some of tha better stuff is left behind.

Erg I'm so envious! This was th.e only year I didn't go to the Fan Expo! I had to go to a party on friday (which was actually quite horrible) and then it was my moms birthday on Saturday! My moms birthday was inexcusable, but I should have totally passed up that party for the Expo! Then today I was sick! GRAH!

But I'm glad to hear you had a good time! I remember my first convention! Was the free PSP part of the convention? And the autographs are totally impossible to get. I remember trying to get Adam Wests autograph. Endless lines.... and it cost cheddar, too!

Friday night was teh best because it wasn't nearly as crowded as saturday was. Thar was no line just to get into teh convention area and everything.

And one of the girls I went to teh convention gave me her psp because she never played it.

Teh Soup Nazi from Seinfeld was thar friday night, and he had a little Booth and everything, so thar wasn't a huge lineup to see him or anything.
But he was selling autographs for 20 bucks, so I didn't go to him.
