But then again the education sytem is different here in Scotland, and I'm not going to my 'local' school, because that place is a shithole, so this might be an exception.

Apart from the fact she seems to defend SONIC without any regards for her own self image, she seems okay to me.

I dunno about Scotland. But I can say this. Public schools in America are horrid.

I learned one thing in public schools... And what I learned was that public schools are trying to educate you; their purpose is train you to be obedient and follow directions without thinking.

THE VERY PURPOSE OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN AMERICA, is to try and get you to stop thinking creatively and independently. The exact opposite of education.

Education in America doesn't start until you enter either a private school or a private college.

Well, as long as you're not the weird and/or fat kid, you're okay. If you can keep your weirdness to a minimum you'll be fine. Some people are going to be jerks, but that's life. You'll find some similar group of people eventually.

And then high school comes along and everyone's too high to actually bother you. Or drunk.

But that's just me.
