Actually, I've rarely met a freshman who felt that way. They seem to be the minority here.
Well, it was like that at my old school. Some of the ones I know now are fine, but the younger classes were fucking awful.

I'm going to be a freshman this year.
Edit: Also, since no one responded about to my post regarding me starting an adventure, I've decided that, unless anyone objects, I'm going to start it tomorrow.

Living on ye olde Britainland, I can't understand what you're saying. I'm in high school, in 5th year and I'm 15. 5th year is the second last year in high school. So 5th and 6th years are reffered to as 'Seniors'.
Also, there are always good people in every year, it takes time for the excitement of switching schools to wear off, so they can reveal themselves, and not the 'high-schooler' they were trying to be.
But it's normally the brats that have the courage on the first few days to run up to a senior and make what they call a 'conversation'. Seriously, what's up with that?
What's a junior?

11th grade. Usually 16-17 year olds. Second to last year in High School.
