You guys remember when we all thought we were too cool for kid shows so we started to sing the messed up versions that went like,
"I hate you."
"You hate me."
"Let's get together and kill barney"
"With a baseball bat and a 2x4, no more purple dinosaur."

I'm not attending a certain annual rock/metal festival this year that I've been to previous years because the line-up, while not bad, isn't great enough to justify ticket prices, gas, hotel rooms, time off work, and all the overpriced concessions that my weak-willed body would shamelessly consume. So of course I get an e-mail from the organizing company saying, "hey we noticed you still haven't gotten tickets, what up?" and included a short survey to offer feedback. Having bodaciously nothing better to do, I went ahead and answered it, jotting it down to a sub-par line-up and leaving it at that.
What I didn't expect was an e-mail today from the organizers (supposedly directly from the CEO, yeah right) not only apologizing specifically for a lackluster bunch of bands, but offering a weekend pass at about 60% off and promising the same deal for next year. It's kind of weird if it's real and I don't really know how to respond.

Maybe it's actually a super small group of people organizing it? Who knows.
Speaking of unusually good deals, I got a free pizza today because the delivery guy dropped off the wrong one. I called the pizza place and they immediately said "Yeah we know, we're sending your actual pizza now, give us 10 minutes." So now we have too much pizza.

As soon as 3D printer/fax machines become commonplace, I'll scan in a slice and fax it to you.

There is no reason an e-mail should be causing me this much stress.
Update on my most boring crisis ever, which I am dubbing Rockvillegate: the e-mail did in fact come from the company and not a bot or phisher (still iffy on whether it's actually the CEO but I have no real reason to disbelieve that anymore), and I am in fact being offered incredibly low prices for weekend passes. Still can't afford to go this year with all the other expenses, but next year I will supposedly receive the same offer, which will be cheaper even than the opening day price.
SO THAT'S FUCKING COOL.
Seriously though it was like I was panicking about something good actually happening for once. Like I'm afraid to be excited for something.

Find something that interests you, then go try it out. Most clubs give you like a free trial. Or go to your local game store and talk to some people there about what they play.
