This video got me thinking

My parents used to breed rabbits. Have you ever held a rabbit in your hands? So small, so fragile. It would be so easy, just a simple twist of the neck, and they couldnt have stopped me. I was so much bigger and stronger than them, almost unimaginably so, like a shark or a tiger would be from my perspective, except even more so. In the end, it didnt matter. My neighbor killed our rabbits. Why? Because he didnt like us, and wanted to hurt us, and the only way he could think of was hurting our pets. A small, cruel adult. I've grown to man since then. He must be atleast in his 80's by now. I could easily repay him in kind. After all, now I'm the strongest.

Riku wrote:Well, I mean, there's a difference between mentally forming the string of information for humming a melody, and actually playing back all parts and lines of an entire song, from bass line to synth overtone, with every hit and wash on the drumset. Most people fall into the first category, some can do the second with their favorite album that they've heard 239486324 times, but it's less common for someone to be able to fully and independently reproduce any song they think of in their head.
I was going to actually point this out. I tend to listen to the same songs on repeat over and over (especially now that my main keyboard is broken and this one doesn't have a built in skip button my "these are good" playlist is getting way more use) and I can basically play a few songs note for note with every instrument in my head on demand.
One of these is Death By Glamour, which i have listened to an average of 10ish times a day every day since I first heard it. It's to the point that I can't actually listen to remixes of it because they inevitably get a note wrong.

I have this really weird thing where I automatically wake up the instant someone within ten meters is thinking about giving me food. Doesn't matter how long I've slept or how quiet they are.

My Breakfast Senses start tingling and I'm suddenly ripped out of the world of Airra, the Astronaut Real-Estate Saleswoman, and into a reality where Airra is suddenly wide awake and unsure of what is going on except for someone is about to walk through the door with a prepared breakfast.

Other times when food is uninvolved, I am near-impossible to wake up.

It's weird.

thing was a bitch to cock

Dad went up north last week and brought back some family heirloom-type stuff. Included among the miscellany was some WWII equipment from his dad, including a (possibly German?) bayonet and a (definitely German) Luger, which came with a leather belt holster and two magazines, one full of 9x19 rounds. According to my dad, it was confiscated from a captured soldier.

I think I just had a bad experience with sweet and sour sauce when I was younger, but now I am down for a bowl of MSG.

I once decided to put some sweet and sour sauce into a bowl of instant noodles.

I regret it to this very day.

When Yahoo bought it. It seems they are slow at changing policy, but I can guarantee you that this is the reason it's changing.

I've been thinking, when I get my new computer (which is something I've been saying for like, a year now... thanks unemployment), I might like to try my hand at streaming. Play some games, chat with folks, etc. I think it'd be a lot of fun, but I don't know if I have enough Internet Cred for a channel to really take off. But still, even having a few folks on Twitch to hang out and chat with sounds like fun.

I'm running on three years of that phrase, and I know the waiting pain very well.

Reeeally hoping things go as planned, this month...

Yeah, all sources say i SHOULD have a job by the end of the summer but I can't assume anything.

Though I am getting paid for a week-long camp I'm working at next week. Unfortunately I can't just turn that cheddar into new-computer cheddar because I need to get my car's AC fixed...

Here's to things "going as planned" for the both of us, I guess.
