From what I heard, my brother-in-law should be fine. Don't think he was conscious, though. He was wearing a helmet, and he was alive when he got to the hospital. As far as he was from the hospital they took him to, any brain injury would have been fatal in that time frame.

I got a text while typing this. He's sedated and intubated (edit: Misread the text, and spell checker doesn't recognize the "correct" word...), and they're stitching his eyebrow. The last part tells me he should be. They wouldn't waste time on an eyebrow if there was anything worse, but they're waiting on CT results.

I guess it goes without saying, the bike is probably trashed.

Apparently a cop was watching that intersection through the CCTV camera mounted on the light. He saw it happen before he got the call to go investigate. The helmet is being held for the investigation in case he doesn't make it.

Mom showed me a picture of the crash after they taped off the intersection. The bike only vaguely looks like a bike.

daisies, that's bad to hear. I wish your brother the best. From your posts, it sounds like he's doing ok and that's amazing considering how bad motorcycle accidents tend to be.

My brother in law didn't hit at a perpendicular angle. He struck near the front of the passenger door and slid along the side of the minivan. He'd been going close to 40 MPH when he hit, too. That, the helmet, and the leather vest is why he's still alive.

I was listening to Eminems old "Toy Soldiers" song, and realized that they were basically challening Murder Inc. How is it badass to call out an enemy 50 years in his grave, like Eminem wouldnt piss himself if he had to deal with the actual Murder Inc?

Remember when I found some weird bone / fossilized plant or whatever last year in the woods?

I found another just like it a few days ago. Also triangular with round edges and a hole through the middle.

Looking at BW's posts makes me wonder how batshit crazy Wrestling really can be.

Closest thing I have to it is having a Lucha Pikachu named "El Churro", sweetest badass in the land.

Virtually everything I ate yesterday decided to wait until about 11:30 last night to come back, in the wrong direction. It looked like nothing had been digested.

I'd get dizzy whenever I tried to move.

So... I missed a day of work.

Nah. I wouldn't have been able to keep it down. I had taken some Pepto Bismol shortly before it all started.

I haven't really been able to move today. My elbows, neck, chest, and back have been hurting. Hopefully I can recover by Monday. If I work that day, I'd get double pay because it's a holiday.

I'm beginning to start using Microsoft Edge because
Image

Every time I look up help nothing works.
This happens whether I uninstall and reinstall Chrome.
I have Norton Security working in my Chrome browser on a brand new computer. It definitely doesn't have any Malware affecting it.
And it's not my internet because I'm playing RuneScape at 60 FPS with no input lag while waiting for Chrome to work.
Note that Chrome still does this even if I don't have RuneScape on either so it ain't that.

Actually this would've been better to post in the Tech help thread, huh?

Too late now.

i'd try firefox first over edge. edge is still garbage in comparison to the others. firefox is ugly but it's still better imo.

my only complaint with chrome is it refuses to load tumblr sometimes for no reason.

I might be moving in with a friend of mine if I get the job I applied for the next town over. Kinda feel bad because it means my mom will have to worry more about finding someone to watch my siblings when she isn't home, but there's just nothing in this town and I need something at least a little better than a grocery store job. Kinda nervous.

Wrestling is like any other interest, like punk rock, giallo films, or fighting grames. There's layers to it, you can just watch Monday Night Raw and have fun with that, or you can be a horrible smark and watch New Japan or your own local federation.

Each federation has their own threshold regarding Kayfabe as well, Ring of Honor's most outlandish characters are a pair of chicken loving hillbillies but they're still treated as credible threats. WWE's cast of demons and eldritch cultists still remain popular, but nowadays they compete with Chikara's cast of superhero OC's and Lucha Underground's rogue's gallery of Luchador DragonBorns, Wendigos, and whatever the hell Mil Muertes is.

In any case, it's all good.
