I meant to go to bed at midnight last night so I could wake up at a reasonable time. Unfortunately, my friends found out about a game called Town of Salem (basically Mafia) and showed it to me so I played that with them and before I knew it, it was 4 in the morning.

I have GOT to stop doing that.

I played that, once. It was amusing until the trolls started lynching people without reason or debate.

it's based off of SC2 Mafia so I'm not that surprised.

I honestly dont get the appeal of Soup Nazi-style run restaurants. I was watching a review of Louis Lunch, the place that was among the first restaurants to offer hamburgers, and they're ridiculous. The menu sucks, there's signs everywhere telling customers that they dont give a fuck about their business and the whole thing just reeks of elitism. Seriously, a burger place that only offers potato salad or fucking CHIPS as side dishes? And I see this kind of thing all the time on food shows, like there's some new trend about offering shitty service to look hip. Its one thing to offer a limited product that you specialize in, its another to act like your daisies farts dont stink because of it.

Made it, this hotel is the hotness. Wi-fi is so much faster than the hotel's last year, it might be faster than mine at home. Everything's clean and shiny and complimentary and now I kind of feel bad for walking in with a shirt that says "FUCK THAT".

I want to make a creepy pasta, but I don't really know where to start, or how to write horror. Any ideas?

Heh, when I saw there was a new post, I thought I should have said something about taking a creepy picture of someone with pasta, or editing a picture of pasta so it has a face or something.

Creepypastas are kind of difficult to pull off correctly, most become a cringey mess of attempted horror that never works out, but occasionally a good writer comes along, check out the nosleep Reddit if you need inspiration.

I was just walking home from my extracurriculars when I saw a garage sale sign in front of this creepy old shack that didn't look anything like the rest of the houses in the neighborhood. Even though I walk this route every day I'd never seen this place before so I shrugged and went to take a look.

The tables set up at the sale were nearly empty and I was beginning to think I had wasted my time when a crooked-toothed old man gestured me to come over with his finger. Instead of listening to Cool Cat and following the Stranger Danger rules I walked over to him. The old man grinned and his breath smelled like liquor and tobacco and dust and he handed me an N64 cartridge. The plastic was black instead of gray and there was no sticker on it, but written in sharpie on one side was 'Pokemon Arsenic'. I was like, 'whaaaaat', because who the heck makes a bootleg pokemon game on an N64 cartridge anymore? Virtual Boy is where it's at bitches.

I asked the old man how much the game cost because I'm an impulse shopper, but when I looked up the old man was gone and I was just standing in the middle of an overgrown empty lot. But the game was still in my hands. So I turned around and continued home.

When I got home I dug out my N64 (Pikachu version hell yea) and popped the cartridge in. When I turned the system on my TV screen was flooded with static and a warped, incomprehensible sound filtered through the speakers. I sat there confused for a moment before remembering something important--I turned off the system and popped the cartridge back out, then blew into it as hard as I could. When I put it back in and turned the system on again, the intro to Pokemon Emerald started up. Nothing seemed different until it got to the title screen, which said "Pokemon Arsenic" instead of "Pokemon Emerald". I was tempted to stop playing, because I already have a Pokemon Alpha Sapphire file on my 3DS, but I was curious to see what kind of bootleg this game was--whether it was just a direct copy of Emerald or if the person had messed with the programming.

When I loaded the main menu, I saw that there was already a save file. The name on the file was "Bill". I wondered briefly if the name was referring to the game character Bill, who programmed the Pokemon Storage System. To my surprise, when I loaded the file, my character's sprite looked nothing like one of the default trainers--or like the character Bill. My character sprite had brown hair and a pale blue lab coat, with a red bow-tie. Curious, I checked Bill's pokemon.

Well right away, I noticed something was up. There were only two Pokemon in Bill's team, but they were a Porygon-Z and a Genesect--pokemon that didn't exist back when Emerald version came out. The Porygon-Z was named "Nye" and the Genesect was named "ScienceGuy".

I chuckled. Not only did this person program this game to have pokemon that weren't supposed to exist yet, but he'd given himself a ridiculously OP legendary to boot. What a fucking scrub.

I decided to play for a little while to see if there was anything else different about the game. The previous game's owner was in the Battle Frontier, at the building that was solely for double battles. I guess that explained why he only had two pokemon with him. I decided to take the double battle challenge.

When my opponent came out and challenged me, the battle music that started up was not pokemon music. It was this weird, unsettlingly 90's-sounding techno-style beat. The screen went to black and stayed black. Chanting started up from the TV's speakers.

"BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!"

As the chanting continued, the screen started to fade to red, and then the battle screen started to appear--slowly, like it was an apparition in the mist of red. Bill the trainer stood facing his opponent--a young innocent Picnicker who had no idea what was going on. The chanting continued.

"BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!"

Red started to seep out of the corners of my TV as Bill and the Picnicker faced off. The Picnicker's face had changed, though I knew it should be impossible, to an expression of disgust, shock, and ever-growing horror. I, too, became disgusted and horrified, as I realized that the substance seeping out of my TV was smelly, out-of-date ketchup.

Bill released his pokemon--the Porygon-Z and Genesect. The chanting continued.

"BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!

BILL NYE AND SCIENCEGUY!"

Well, as I said Wednesday, I went to the mountain with my brother, and we had to repair the hog trap.

Last night, my brother's father in law went up there, and killed a hog. In the trap.

Well, at least the daisies thing works!
