I believe something about tracks was mentioned.
Don't blame me; I voted for Kodos.

I waited a long time before filling out my FAFSA (free application for federal student aid...application for federal grants and loans) so I didn't think I would get any grant cheddar and would be paying my community college costs out of pocket. I checked today and got enough grant cheddar to cover all of my costs, plus I'll get my KEES cheddar (not sure what it stands for, but it's cheddar that the state of kentucky gives out based on how well you did in high school if you go to college) and since my college costs are covered, I'll get to pocket it, which I can use to pay off a big chunk of my loans from going to a state university last fall. I'm in a good mood.

Looking for an apartment since I have to free the current one in two weeks because my friend comes back from his internship. It's making me nervous. This is too much Real Life for me to take at once.

At the same time I am filing for disability while possibly hiring an attorney for related situation.

I'll probably spend a good four years in my current apartment. Three to finish my studies and then I'll probably make use of the extra year they allow you to live here after graduation. It's small but the rent is low and includes water, electricity, fast Internet and sauna shifts. That electricity bit is good because my computer can pull a good 700W at full load. And a stable 100mbit connection all for myself is welcome after 10 years of shared 8/1 ADSL.

Yeah... We didn't see any hogs today. However, I looked at the trap, and I pointed out to my brother that a pig could open it and escape by using their nose to push the spring loaded door open. So next time, we'll try putting in another T post, placed in such a way that the edge of the door will be in the corner of the post, so they can't get their noses in it.
Aside from that, we only saw pig tracks. There was footage on one of the cameras of a bear investigating the trap. Also, I couldn't calibrate my scope, because the fog was really thick. I stood near the targets, maybe fifty yards from my brother. If he had been wearing gloves and a dark hood, and then stood by the bushes and held still, I wouldn't have been able to see him.
So my rifle is still clean.

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
I visited two potential apartments today and I didn't even cry.
The first one was interesting. I was hoping the second one would suck so I wouldn't have to make a choice but nope, the second one is great too. D:
The first one is the second floor of the house of an elderly couple. Everything is included in the rent (electricity, heating, fridge+oven+microwave, washing + drying machines, complete furniture, a bed but not the mattress) except the Internet. The place itself is nice enough, it's in a peaceful residential area with very little traffic, and it's less then 5 minutes away from work. The owners absolutely don't want noisy renters though. I'm not noisy (no TV, never any loud music, no guests and no parties), but I'd still feel cautious all the time, and I'd feel limited if I ever wanted to actually do things.
The second one is an actual apartment in a block. It's costs $20/month more than the first one and nothing is included. There is a fridge and an oven, but they are rented separately (for $25/month). But! The current renter wants to leave the apartment because he has his own house elsewhere, and he has nothing to do with his furniture and doesn't want to pay to move it out so he's giving it all to whoever takes his rent. That means a very nice kitchen table with 4 sturdy chairs, a TV stand thing and a living room table, a futon, a bed and a mattress + a sweet Shawn The Sheep comforter, and also (I think?) a washing machine and a drying machine?? The place is also in a nice peaceful neighborhood but about 15 minutes from work (which is not big but still).
Right now I don't own any furniture, so I can only look for apartments that come with furniture. If I picked the second one (the rent ends in August) I would inherit a very nice set of brand new furniture that I could take with me anywhere afterwards.

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
Bro you found some dope apartments.
I would lean towards the second one personally, if only because it's hard to tell what your landlords would be like in the first one. Since they're renting out part of their house they could really make whatever rules they want. Of course, they could be nice folks and not care at all what you do.
I guess it depends on how much the utilities would be on the second one, too.

Yeah typing it here made me lean towards the second one too. I think I'm going to wait till later today to see if my parents have anything to say, then call the guy and ask him if the washing and drying machines are part of the deal, and accept if they are.

Re: All topics unimportant enough to not create a thread for
everything flooded, and one of my rabbits nearly drowned. he's alive, and no longer hypothermic, but he looks like he has a spinal injury (poor coordination, not 100% aware of surroundings, etc) so i might be butchering a rabbit tonight :/
here's to hoping my doe i bred him to actually has her litter, because otherwise i have to go buy a new buck. not to mention these are also my pets and im really upset lmao. he's such a pretty buck too, i hate this.
