What the hell did I miss

I got rear ended today. Thankfully it was in the company car. However, after everyone else left, and I was about to leave, that's when the car decided it wasn't going to start. Turned out that it needed a jump.

But the whole debacle added two hours onto the clock for me today.

There was a dinner with the people from work tonight. I managed to get there without dying or getting lost. It was nice. My boss and the Big Boss arrived not long after me and the only places left were right next to me so it was a bit intimidating at first.
Later on someone asked with I do in my free time, which is always the door to social suicide as I had to say "nothing, I just stay home alone with all the curtains closed dicking around on my computer in the dark". It was comical when I had to explain how normal indoor lighting such as the one at work hurts my cave-dweller eyes. We had fun.
Then I got home and realized my pants were unzipped the whole time.

I submitted 25 job applications tonight.

Let's see how just how zero of them will respond ha ha ha ha ha haaaaa *laughing while cutting wrists*

I'll hopefully get confirmation regarding jerbs next week.

Oh hey I'm in the process of jerb-hunting as well.

So far the only places I've heard back from are charter schools from the job fair I went to last week, which is kind of a good thing but it makes me wonder what happened to all the big school districts I applied to? Maybe they're just slow or maybe they don't want me a bloo bloo. But seriously they're probably waiting for me to finish my certification, I just hope it won't be too late.

Also a lot of those charter schools are actually really far away... so some of them I've had to rule out entirely. I kinda feel bad leaving opportunities on the table but I just don't think making an hour-plus-long drive every day and waking up at 5 is going to be conducive to a successful career. Yeah I know some people do it but I'm honestly looking out for my mental health here.

I'm getting on with my bachelor's and thinking more about certifications. I think I'll be set after that. cheddar sucks now, but I should make up for it later.

Just keep applying, they'll have to let up eventually. What kind of positions you looking for?

ok, I responded

My brother and I are about to head up to the mountain his father-in-law's family owns, to do a little more work on the hog problem up there. We're taking our new rifles, as last week we came across fresh tracks as we were heading back to the truck from the hog trap. Those tracks were pretty close to the trap, and weren't there when we went to the trap.

So there's a good possibility we'll be bringing back some pork.
