Yesterday I got stuck in the wrong lane at the intersection on my way back from work, so today I made sure to be on the other lane to avoid that, and somehow I was still in the wrong lane?? This city is confusing and inconsistent.

I won tickets and I don't know how pop flyin' I should be about it.

So my radio station's doing a contest now to give away tickets (not yet on sale) to see Def Leppard and Styx at their tour premier in Pensacola. The contest is: Be caller number nine, DJ will sing some song lyrics, you have to sing along when he tells you to so you prove your fandom and earn the tickets. Simple enough, but I heard three people call in and fail in quick succession on the way home today so, what the fuck, I'll call. It's gonna be busy anyway. I certainly can't take any more time from work to drive hours away but maybe I'll get a laugh out of trying.

Oh wait, the phone's ringing. It's not busy. Well, he'll tell me someone got it already and that'll be that.

Fuck, I won tickets to a show I might not be able to see. I mean it's awesome, seeing Def Leppard and Styx would be insanely cool, but I'm turning into an old man and worrying about not getting enough sleep before work, and it will almost certainly be 1 or 2 in the morning before I get home. And this is coming off another festival in fucking JACKSONVILLE that I'm already planning to take a day off work to see.

I don't know why I'm whining over a fucking opportunity like this, I know I'm gonna go see it.

That's why we was able to get our FREEDOM so easily when we made the smart decision and made our own country an entire ocean away from those lame-os.
