I think I survived my first day of internship so that's already better than I was expecting.
The people are still nice and not overly formal. The meeting leader mimed committing seppuku during the meeting and a senior dev made a North Korea joke at his expense.
The big problem is that I wasn't given clear instructions so I just followed people who told me to follow them and then had a meeting and then ran to another three hour meeting (I missed the first half hour because of the first meeting) and then had lunch and then had another meeting and then the one guy who was giving me instructions earlier left and I didn't know what to do or if when I could leave or anything until long after I could have actually left.
And of course I got stuck in the wrong lane at least once while going back to the apartment because it's never indicated properly.
I might live to see the end of the internship.
