AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Yea I used to browse 3 or 4 different forums. 1 of them got taken down, and then the other ones got to where they barely got 1 new post a week, so I just stopped going there. This is the only forum I use now.

I've been on about 3 other forums before AZ (excluding rehashes and offshoots). The first one I was on went through major growing pains, and so it doesn't resemble what it was 13ish years ago, the second one I was a mod on and would constantly die after half the staff caused a freak out because they wanted to shut it down, and the rest of the proletariats were left in charge of reviving it because people wanted us to. I was very glad when I just left and didn't look back (last post on that forum was 4 years ago so I hope everyone finally just moved on). My last forum is still around but it's hard to tell how active it is when the forums are purged on occasion because the admin is a twit who doesn't like backlog (out of my nearly 8000 posts on that forum I think about 50 have not been purged), so it's hard to tell if it's dying or not without hanging around, and I'm definitely not going back there.

AZ could use some fresh blood like the 2011 swarm of users that joined, but I don't think it's bad as it is now, certainly less drama right now than there was 4-5 years ago.

I vote we begin sacrificing forum members in order to appease the Dark Lord Katie and gain her blessing in order to revive Merlin and Xabryn.

I couldn't remember her. She was the one who wanted to go out in a storm of nuclear fire and take as many people with her as possible! I remember her from my lurking days.

My theory for Xab is that he had that student film and a bunch of us contributed towards it... then nothing came of it. Maybe he's embarrassed.

i think xabyrn did end up making the film but it was an actual indie film, not a student one. i thought i had read something on imdb about it years ago, but he had left the forum by that point so who knows, i never kept up with him.

merlin is busy with a teaching gig in taiwan i think.


essentially the forum is boring now and severely broken so kids i wouldn't hold your breath on a renaissance, sadly. le comic might as well be a separate forum entity altogether.

All of the young innocent Le Comic forumites....they go about their business, making comic edits, beating dead horses, and trying too hard to make new memes......

unaware that in the other subforums, there is a BEAST....lurking......biding its time.....

TO unfunny waste of space, time and resources

I put in an application yesterday at some place that makes eyeglasses. They need someone to deliver them. They interviewed me on the spot, and I'll hear back later this week about whether or not I get the job. They have to check with their insurance company to check my record.

I just got a phone call. I start work on Monday. I may also get a second job, if the hours are fixed. That way, I can get stuff paid for.

I just found out that when I shake my Android phone while on the Imgur app it makes confetti.

I'm very pop flyin' for both of you.

We essentially just ended up moving to chat programs anyway, didn't we? Does anyone even know all the splinter az chats around?

Yeah, it was AIM and then Skype later. The new chat is like, half not AZ people anyway and most who are AZ'ers never post so its more like....friendchat. As for others, I know there is like, anime/weeb chat and a FF14 chat probably but those are less offshoots of AZ chat. There's no real OFFICIAL AWKWARD ZOMBIE CHAT ROOM anymore.

I knew nothing about any chat room at all. I am a newish user though.
