Got 550 on my first try; defeated by Hausa, Swedish, and Tamil

Made it to 650.

Got 350. I messed up french.

I went to a job interview last week, and I applied to Barnes & Noble Saturday, as a backup plan.

However, judging from the phone call I just got a few minutes ago, I'm guessing that they have another company screen their applicants. This is the third time this has happened.

What they do is ask me a bunch of questions, then flood my email with links to "openings", but every link I click (even the one to push shopping carts at Walmart) takes me to a list of positions that all require me to either be a registered nurse, or have a CDL. I can't afford the schooling, especially when I need the cheddar for my car payment NOW.

I'm so sick of having a fucking car. I knew shit like this would happen.

I sometimes find it strange how Le Comic's natives rarely, if ever, migrate out into the rest of the forums.
I found it more fun posting elsewhere when I realized there was more to this place than vandalizing the weekly comic page.

Especially since they tend to fall off topic a lot totally not my fault, I dededeny everything. So many on-topic topics to pick for a given topic if they'd get out of the comic topics for the sake of a topical discussion.

Your last point is spot on. But the few who actually try to join are often ostracised. Honestly, it's probably because this forum sparks witch hunts against people who say something slightly "wrong" or whenever a new user makes a thread that already exists they get a bad welcome. Even though the thread will fall off the front page in short order and there really isn't much point in making a fuzz about it. It's a difficult forum to join compared to other forums I have visited.
