My mom decided we weren't moving. I'm pretty sure I'm going to try and move to the next town over though. I don't have a car, so it all depends on whether I can get a job near one of the apartments I'm looking at, but hopefully it works out.

This is a language test I occasionally take to well, test myself. It got updated recently it seems, I just got 1450 points on my first try. No idea if that makes me better than average.

400 first try. Pretty good I think for an ignorant American. Especially since I don't even know some of the languages I heard and had to eliminate the ones I knew it wasn't.

The last failure was, hilariously, Finnish.

Took my dog to the vet today to have his leg looked at (he got hit by a car a couple days ago), and they x rayed him. Turns out his leg broke right on the growth plate of his thigh bone and in all likelihood he's going to be lame now. The vet said that even with surgery, which I definitely can't afford, his leg would still likely not heal right. I guess I have a 3 1/2 legged dog now.

On the brightside though, he doesn't have any internal injuries, and the pain medication they gave us is really helping him. They said he'll still grow up to be a healthy dog even with just 3 working legs, and dogs seem to handle trauma better than humans, so as long as my dog is ok with it, I guess I am as well.

I got 400. I can guess which one it is when the choices are languages I actually know about, but I've never even heard of a lot of these languages.

I'm usually getting 700-ish, but I keep fucking up between Dutch and Afrikaans, and then between Russian and Ukrainian.
So basically the languages that are already really similar to each other.

Apparently, I keep forgetting the phonetic patterns of Hausa, as well.

Portuguese is what always gets me. It's a major European language so it shouldn't be a problem but it's just... weird.

Sometimes the clip is just bad though and you're left trying to decipher it.
