So my mom is out of PTSD meds and is having mini panic attacks. It's not bad but not a good thing either. Also I'm getting new glasses . Old ones are broken.

I'm actually doing it, attending an actual Japanese class. This will no doubt help with my animes.

I tried taking a free online class years ago, but that idea fell short when they locked the lesson I was doing (and all the ones after it) behind a pay wall without notice and I stopped because I didn't have any means to really try to continue.

The only two symbols I really recall are あ (ah) and は (ha).

I befriended a Japanese friendg through an online game who was going to help teach me in exchange for helping improve his English where necessary (they apparently don't have a single word that conveys the concept of redundancy, as it apparently turned out), but I lost contact with the person when I lost my old Skype account.

We have a couple Japanese people in the class and some others with varying degrees of fluency.

I'm going to be working with a middle school in a few weeks to present some Japanese history and give some Japanese language lessons. Maybe I can post some stuff on the forum if anyone is interested?

Most likely the stuff, though if it turns out well I might have some stories to share, heh.

I'm excited to be there to introduce kids to a new language and kinda give them a presentation on what to expect if they were to travel to Japan. I know going there was kinda different than what I expected, and I'd like to give them a realistic view that isn't anime.

I still need to start doing photos of my trip for AZ too, ahhhh, I'll hopefully get to it this weekend.

God I wish I knew how as well. Dire is rad as heck.

Also I've had a head cold for the past few days. I got some Dayquil in pill form because liquid medicine is awful, and while these pills are roughly the size of horse tranquilizers, they do the trick.
