The adoption shelter I was going to get a corgi from adopted it away already, and none of the other local shelters have corgis. This makes me sad.

Still going to get a dog though, just not sure which breed now.

I once learned to will myself into feeling colder during a particularly hot summer with no internet. I unfortunately forgot how to trigger this newfound superpower when the internet got cut on that November.

That, or I had hardcore denial that allowed me to BELIIIIEVE and lost my suspension of disbelief.

Either way, I dun' goofed on a life changing discovery.

Wasn't weather control, but I didn't feel like I was dying.

Do you have a tiled floor? If so you could get as naked as is culturally acceptable in your county and lay on the floor. If you get too hot then roll over and voila! still cool.
Seriously, I've heard this from multiple people, I can't believe how many people replied with roll on the floor for a bit when asked about the heat.
