When did behaving like a rude, elitist asshole or having a crappy selection start to mean that a restaurant has "attitude" or whatever? I dont belive that restaurants should have to crawl up the asshole of demanding, obnoxious guests or anything, but I've seen a lot of ads for restaurants lately that seem to take pride in being "exclusive" or "specialized"

It came out incredibly lame. Pretty sure I used too much water because the only properly sized mug I have is in use so had to use an awkwardly sized glass.

I just saw a fairly big meteor breaking up in the atmosphere, raining down smaller pieces. Kind of look like a sparkler going off.
Might be the first time in a while where I unconsciously exclaimed awe. That shit was cool!

I moved out of my parent's house, finally.

I packed up all my things while they were out at Bible Study and left them a text explaining why I left.

I'm expecting a shitshow soon.

I think this will be good for me. Should be a lot less stressful not being fed constant negativity all the time.

Went and had a chat with an imam and explained what I did and he was very understanding so that left a positive impression. Also went and bought some vitamin B12 which is good for memory and brain health. Feeling the best I've felt in months. In a perfect world I wouldn't have to fight for the right to be safe in my own head, of course.

My college (along with about 40 other schools) was closed today because of a bomb hoax to protest the teachers protesting the government.

I hazily remember a day in high school when most of the school skipped a day because of an alleged threat of some sort, but I can't remember what it was. People weren't allowed to do that of course but they did it anyway. There was also a time when some Dimmu Borgir lyrics written on a bathroom wall caused a hoax. At least I believe those were two separate events.

I swear, sometimes I think I have some kind of mental problem that causes me to be lazy and not wanna do anything. I have a tiny stomach ache right now and I think it's because I have little to do, yet I feel like I wanna do something and then /try/ to do it, and immediately lose interest in it.

Does everyone feel this, or do I have a problem?

The temperature here in SoCal took a nosedive a couple days ago. Not that I'm complaining, I like the cold. It's just time to retire the shorts for the year.

I'd imagine we're finally feeling that El Nino everyone's been talking about. I'm looking forward to sweater weather and some nice soggy afternoons.
