Well if you're leaving, it won't much matter, will it? I still say your safest bet is just to pack everything as quickly as possible without saying anything, and then basically be like "Oh hey, would you mind helping me move this last box here"

Tell them they now have a new room for whatever they want. You know, give them a little silver lining.

Dude, Ive told you this before, your family is fucking toxic, cut them off like a gangrenous limb and forget they ever existed at all. They dont give a shit about you, you're just a punching bag they can vent their frustration on.

The con was cool. The short version:

- I am a child when given a retro game. The arcades confused me severely before I got the hang of them.
- The Game Chasers are a bunch of fuckheads who I can't help liking. Very blue-collar.
- Tom Fulp is the coolest dude.
- Sherard Jackson is super nervous in front of the barest crowds.
- In the 90s, the U.S. government commissioned Nintendo to create a light gun "game" that the National Guard could use to train in lieu of actual rifles, to save on maintenance costs. The result was so precise that it was used to pass certification for riflemen. Supposedly, the only full set of equipment is owned by Joe Sullivan's Gaming Museum.
- "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" is SO MUCH FUN YOU GUYS I HAD NO IDEA TECHNICAL MANUALS COULD BE SO FUN.

Tomorrow's guestlist includes Tobuscus, whom apparently hails from Niceville. Also a panel on budget cosplay, of which I am in desperate need.
The A in this case stands for Armageddon. As in, Armageddon a boner because this plane has a fucking HOWITZER sticking out of it.

Exeres, you met Tom Fulp?! That's so cool! Also, is "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" on Steam? I've heard of it a little, and saw a stream of some people watching it. How does it even work? Do your friends have to be with you in the same room?

They don't, in fact it's encouraged that the manual operators and the bomb defuser can't see each other. The game also tells you that if you can do voice chat, you could even play with someone across the world.
So actually you could play it with me,

Got some more experience with Keep Talking, it is super fun. Even losing is great.

Tom Fulp was a cool guy, but most of his talk about programming sailed over my head. He mentioned some easter eggs in Castle Crashers, and said there was one that, as far as he knew, no one had ever found.

Now that it's over I'll drop pictures and stories in their relevant threads as I get around to them.

Tom Fulp is a genuinely fascinating guy, I recommend the Sleepycast where he drops by as it's fantastic.

The more I think about it, the more my desire to make it through life without having to live through some personal, social or global disaster, and still attain some level of success and happiness, feels unreasonable. This is one of those nights that I just kinda wish I could lay down and not wake up the next morning because the future seems far too bleak and uncertain to face.

Hey folks,
this comes across as silly, but that episode I pulled off in taboo topics really screwed me up (I'm talking ruined year levels here) and I'm still shocked I managed write something like that. Right now I really need to get back to normal mental health and feel better about myself. Any words of encouragement are greatly appreciated, PMs are fine.

Like I said last time you posted, you still seem an ok dude to me. Don't let the mistakes of your past eat up your whole life. You still have plenty of time left on this earth to redeem yourself and have a positive influence on the world around you. Don't waste your shot.

Right now I couldn't give a daisies about anything dealing with immigration, multiculturalism or islam. Life was much more enjoyable when I didn't bother with any of it and it brought me nothing but stress, headache and worry, so I'll just drop all of it and focus on things that bring me joy. My silly immigration critic phase ends here. It was not good for my mental health.

And I'd like to make it known I no longer considere these things to be nearly as big a threats as I used to. It is not good for your mental heaöth to operate under such a mindset. There was precisely one threat in this equation, and that was the threat all of this posed on my quality of life.

I wouls also like to apologize for describing the situation in some countries as a "nightmare scenario." That was a hyperbole if there has ever been one.

Perhaps having a more positive outlook on humanity in general is in order.

Mete, most of those posts are deleted now but from what I can remember you were pretty much just displaying a strong anti-immigration opinion and other people were attacking you and calling you bodaciously Hitler and jumping on racist remarks that didn't exist for the sake of defending their own Absolutely Perfect and HumaneTM pro-immigration opinion
Great Handsome Oppressor even told you to get lost
You never said any slurs, I don't remember much ad hominem, and yet people jumped on you based on their own twisted interpretation of your words, and that's never something you should blame yourself for
You're essentially beating yourself up for getting beaten up

Regardless of all that I just said which is solely based on my own opinion of the matter and not representative of any other parties involved...

Regretting a few things you said shouldn't turn you into an opinionless wreck haphazardly donating (though there's not necessarily anything wrong with donating to charity) and writing multiple apology letters for the sake of "making up for" a few words on the Internet

You're a cool dude, you just had one little stumble, don't let it ruin your life
If I dwelled on everything I've ever said on the Internet I would be crying in a corner somewhere contributing nothing, but I'm sure at least someone has benefitted from something I've said, and that's good enough for me

No, it's exactly that, it was a strong anti-immigration opinion, but why did I feel the need to discuss it here? What did I think would come of it? I had much better places for debating these things and I opted to pick this forum. And the way my post was framed pretty much removed all possibility for a proper debate anyway, it read like a manifest and I set myself up like a punching bag. The insults I received pretty much ruined my peace of mind for months until a certain real life event caused me to completely break down and I've been doing everything possible just to get back to normal ever since. I've said a few dumb things on this forum before that occasionally come to mind but this goes way beyond all those. I had other forums in mind back then already and I really should've just made the switch on time.

This forum is also the first place I ever got called a racist so there's that I suppose.
